Biggles asks for bombs and a Lewis gun...which are never used or even seen! Also Fergusson gets a sub machine somehow, despite not getting out of the helicopter.
@drugfckd no! i love this movie so much too, something about it - its got everything, charm, respect, humor, good storyline, and is innocent too, no calling people the `n` word or the `f` word, no need for massive explosions and fake cgi stuff, this movie brings out the child in all of us
@fathertohumanity it doesnt have a massive budget, or have the best action sequences or anything but it has alot of character and charm that for me shines through shame they didnt make a sequel with the same people id have paid money to watch it or buy it on dvd ah well at least we have this one
@drugfckd yeh although a remake with today`s actors would be TERRIBLE! i wouldnt mind a sequel though with say michael caine as raymond, and maybe a good youngish actor as biggles or something ya know,
@fathertohumanity yeah it would have to be done in the spirit of the first one with some youngish up and coming actors i think but make they watch the first one so they can follow it on properly
Ok, but where can I find this other tune starting when the Kraut was chasing Biggles and ending when Biggles landed the chopper? Any ideas what it's called?
My favoret line: if you can fly a Sopwith Camal, ou can fly anything. With good reason, the Camal was a devil to fly. That explanes why he's more likely to fly, oh, now let me see.... Camal F.E2 DH Dragon Rapead Tiger moth Bulldog Spitfire Blenhem Mosqito Lancaster The list is endless
Since i've first heard this song "Do you want to be a Hero" i've been looking for the soundtrack ever since...but it's been tough but i'll find it some day.
the soundtrack? it's on youtube. Stupid youtube rules stop me posting the link but do a search for "Biggles (Do You Want To Be A Hero?) - Jon Anderson" by user Jtee27.
If I were you I would download realplayer and then download the track from youtube. You can convert the realplayer file easily to wav to put on ipod.
haha that look at 4:16 is classic

@Fedaykin24 Another plot hole is that Fergusson is holding a Sterling sub-machine gun, which wasn't even designed until after the second world war
