The skill he demonstrates is very high. He shows one trick I've never seen anyone else do (I've got to go try it) and at least one other I've only seen Vince Bruce, the greatest roper ever, do.

They ask Rogers to stop blocking the Model T Ford, and Rogers
looks back, grins mischieviously and just keeps blocking it! LOL.
America has probably had hundreds of prospective "Will Rogers
types" to grow up since 1935, but the Feds made sure they either
ended up dead or in prison. No way they'd allow ANOTHER thorn
in their side like Rogers to get popular!
The Feds were actually scared he'd run for President! Wouldn't
be a bit surprised if they had THUGS sabotage Post's plane.
