loved the film. great acting by Colin Firth. interesting insight into the life of King George. - Brilliant choice of music for this speech. Great how the speech and music fit together. - funnily enough, it is German music.
This scene is so good, that every time I watch it I stand up and gave it a applausse.
This whole film deserves an standing ovation. Its simple one of the best movies I seen in my life. And its motion picture thats shines between so many remakes and cliches movies.
Thanks for making it.
And if you havent seen it yet... What the hell are you waiting for? Go to the theater, buy a DVD, rent it on Netflix... but watch it!
I found it abominable that Geoffrey Rush didn't win best supporting actor for his role in this timeless piece of work. It was essential that both male roles bonded and fit like brick and mortar to create the entire body of the film. Geoffrey Rush is a terrific actor and should be recognized accordingly!
@Badaktor I thought the same thing! Yes, Bale was great, but I felt Rush did a magnificent job with this role! I felt like I could feel everything he felt, every emotion.
Awesome, incredible and powerful scene... Superb acting and excellent music. Fully deserved the Academy Award. I totally agree with @BitzanBobs... EVERYONE SHOULD SEE THIS MOVIE.
For some reason, the video is flipped from left to right, but it is still an incredible piece of filmmaking and a beautiful example of Colin Firth's acting. Thanks.
Absolutely superb scene. It gives me goosebumps!

@19521888 I deliberately did that, because the music in the video is copyrighted.
