This guy is an idiot! This is Brand Park in Glendale, CA. The area he is filming is an old wash. I know this because I've been inside of there many, many times. All the warning signs are so people don't catch the place on fire because the area is very dry and there's a lot of wildlife living there (mountain lions, coyotes, bobcats, etc). Also the wash leads into the ocean, so theres lots of no dumping signs. The cameras are there to keep people out after sunset I've been all through that wash
there is a landfill above brand park and those buildings are for monitoring the soil and water systems underground for contamination. not 100% sure it might be totally different thing.

In other words, it only inhibits access from the road, it doesn't keep anything in and it just ends about a half mile down the road. I live 3 blocks from here. And have checked out this place. Those "watch towers" are used to measure water if there ever was a flood. Those inward facing barbed wire fences couldn't hold in anyone that has seen the movie Fight Club. The yellow gate is to keep vehicles out, it's been there for decades. That road is a fire access road that goes all the way to the top of the mountains. Much to do about nothing. Google earth it. Cross streets Mountain and Western.
I used to live in the Valley and that is a flood control area probably built after the floods in the 1930's. There was terrible flooding in the Glendale area because that's where the all the drainage merges. That's when the Sepulveda dam and Van Norman lakes were built and the LA River was paved. The fence is pointed in to keep idiots like you out of such areas. They don't want people smoking they shoes around all that concrete. They might fall on they butt and sustain a brain injury.

@akiramc83 It is harder to scale then jump into the area you want to sequester. If the wire points out you can get between it and the mesh of the fence itself. Call a fencing company and ask them. There is a pumping station on Del Avion between Niguel Rd and Golden Lantern in Laguna Niguel California. It is in an area about 20' by 13' with an 8' fence. The barb wire points in. Is that also a Fema camp?

The idea being that if someone is on the inside, like a thief or vandal, and the barb wire injures them, then insurance will cover the costs of it. However if it's on the outside, then it's likely over public property, and will result in a lawsuit.

Also, it's a lousy location for a "concentration camp". You need flat ground to set up tents or buildings and maintain a flat line of site throughout the facility for security reasons. That doesn't exist here.
The concrete spillway, overflow pipe and associated water related construction suggests this place has something to do with controlling flash flooding from mountain runoff.

the only valid question is why is the fence top angled inward and not outward. Clearly this is not a high Security Fence. It is easily defeated with minor injuries sustained. It may be pointed inward to make it harder for poeple to steal things and get them over the fence. I don't think it is designed to hold people in and if it is then it will not be very effective. Look at your fences around prisons, if they had a fence like that, I'd be concerned.

A lot of the facts are interesting and make you think why the Us gov. is building such places and for who. Small L.A.D.W.P. resevoirs are coverd to keep young people from swiming in our drinking water.

I live 3 blocks from here. And have checked out this place. Those "watch towers" are used to measure water if there ever was a flood. Those inward facing barbed wire fences couldn't hold in anyone that has seen the movie Fight Club. I even hiked up past there for a few miles and all i found was a cop on the way down and got a [ot ticket. Stop being paranoid.

Oh please. I grew up 2 blocks down the street from this. It's the catch basin above Brand Park. Water collects, goes thru a spillway then into the sewer under Western ave. The yellow gate is to keep vehicles out, it's been there for decades. That road is a fire access road that goes all the way to the top of the mountains. Much to do about nothing. Google earth it. Cross streets Mountain and Western.

I used to live in the Valley and that is a flood control area probably built after the floods in the 1930's. There was terrible flooding in the Glendale area because that's where the all the drainage merges. That's when the Sepulveda dam and Van Norman lakes were built and the LA River was paved. The fence is pointed in to keep idiots like you out of such areas. They don't want people smoking they shoes around all that concrete. They might fall on they butt and sustain a brain injury.
