hi.... i just bought this today and it sucks... i bought this in target and when i used it, the louder my MP3 gets, the bad quality the ihome is... sooo its not the best i home i had plus tell me how ur ihome is with an MP3, THANX and make a video about it
@deadrocker911 maybe you don't have the same model or defective? I think it has a decent sound in a small form factor and with the earphone jack you can connect to anything easily. For great sound you will need to sprend more than the $15-20 and move into a powered speaker system. Check out some of the creative bluetooth models, saw at CES and sounded good.
i just bought this and wanted to see if there was a review on it, i gotta say, it sounds really nice and crisp, not over powering bass, and its pretty loud, real nice sounding speakers, I was impressed when i turned it up
@420swed420 isn't it amazing for $15! Won't blow you away with base but for a cool speaker to pack in your bag and amazing battery life. I just packed mine in a suitcase for a week and won't have to worry about a power cord. I bought it just like you and was amazed. Have fun.
@slashedsickness sure, I use standard energizer AA rechargeable batteries that charge in 15 minutes and works great. As long as you are AA you should be fine (pick them up at target). Batteries last forever with the speaker!
@graeamos yes, iphone 3 & 4 in cases work fine as well as any other phone or mp3 player with headphone jack. I leave my phones in cases all the time so no worries.
@pspgod9999 yes, 4 AA batteries. I use rechargeable ones and last 2-3 weeks at least. Wanted to note, I tried other models by ihome and this particular model sounded better although it's the cheapest. Go figure?
@triodedude just the speaker, was just showing it with different devices. Right now the iphone 4 sits on it and is perfect to watch movies or music on because of the tilt. I hear they discontinued the model so grab one if you can find it. ps - I tried the more expensive ihome speaker that zips closed and sound wasn't as good.
Great Job! I enjoyed your review. Ill have to try sending a message from an RFID tagged postcard (Bulacard) to my iPhone and listen to it on the iHome.
Glad you liked it, had fun with this one and the audio demo made it fun. Did you mean the part that is the overlay title? I include that because many sites embed my videos and want to make sure the person watching knows who it is. thanks!

Does it work with rechargeable batteries? If so, what mAh is the maximum? I need to know what Sanyo Eneloops to buy...

@KARLCIESLAK Did you buy it outside the US? Most retailers sell it for around $15-$20 so maybe you have a slightly different model.
