  • Are they playing up to Lawrence Tierney's on screen persona here - or was Tierney genuinely a bit ...how you say ... psychotic...lol? Please answer.

  • Apparently Tarantino also said that Tierney was extremely difficult to work with in Reservoir Dogs.

  • "Master of the house doling out the charm, ready with a handshake and an open palm.."

  • or whatever his name was

  • the knife thing isnt sick at all....i thought it was funny......sick is jason alexander wanting tookie wilson to live!

  • Reminds me of a sergeant major I may have encountered. "You look like a damn fool!" Yeah, I'm sure of it now.

  • Hey, it's that guy that plays the security guard on The Simpsons episode where Bart steals Bonestorm.

  • @KartKing4ever Catfish?!

  • @Yaybels EXACTLY!!! Finally someone who knows what I'm talking about.

  • We had a funny guy with us in Korea... Tailgunner... He blew his brains out all over the Pacific!

    There's nothing funny about that!

  • Joe Cabot is Elane's father?

  • wait a minute!......is joe cabot

  • love how all these Seinfeld vids have 0 dislikes ... such an amazing show !

  • I just watch lawrence in John dillinger he was bad ass

  • As much as I probably would have liked seeing Elaine's father more, it's probably better that he was just a one-off character. He works so well here, but I'm just not quite sure he would have worked as a semi-recurring character the way Frank and Estelle or Morty and Helen did.

  • @Tony2826 He definitely could have but he was far too unstable to be invited back even once.

  • @Tony2826 That being said, I would have like to see him interact with Jerry and George's parents.

  • Ashamed he did that, it would of been great to have Elaine's father in more eposides becasue with him meeting her boyfreinds and such :)

  • Lawrence Tierney is brilliant

  • Pipe down choir boy

  • @Cdub2k

    "Chorus boy", come on!!!!

  • Why the hell would they have sharpened knives laying around unsupervised?

  • They were the props from Jerry's apartment set. I suppose he had to actually cut stuff up in some scenes, so they were sharpened.

  • "Why am I mr. Pink?"

    "Because you're a faggot, alright?"

  • it´s the same character as it was in reservoir dogs. nothing special. but very good episode.

  • Shows that today's stars aren't like the very cool people like L.T. of yesteryear. People are made of jello now.

  • Elaine really is hot.

  • Tierney sounds like a terror to work with. When he did an episode of The Simpsons, he was described as the craziest guest star they ever had on that show as well.

  • what character did he play in the simpsons

  • He played the security guard at the Shop-N-Save during a Christmas episode of the Simpsons. His voice is so distinctive that if you see the episode, you'll think of his Seinfeld character right away.

  • haha that's right he was the security guard for Shop-N-Save, it's so obvious, but I just never really made the connection in my mind before.

    Anyways this episode was hilarious.

  • @hutch2818 I really love the audio commentary for that Simpsons episode, because they unanimously agree that he was the most difficult guest they ever had on the show and actually had to trick him into reading certain lines that he didn`t like.

  • @VerySeriousChannel I know. I actually had heard about that or read it somewhere. So when I heard the cast of Seinfeld also saying how nuts he was, it made me laugh.

  • @hutch2818 Try-N-Save

  • @bfdhvcnvvbjdn Ah, I think you're right.

  • Too bad we didn't get to hear Jerry commenting on the incident with the knife.

  • Wonder if that's where they got the idea of the actor Kramer stealing a box of raisins.

  • @alex8711 I was wondering about that

  • It's funny to see how none of their mannerisms are anything like the characters they play, especially Elaine and Kramer, except Jerry. But then again Jerry is playing himself.

  • That would've been great to have George's dad and Elaine's dad meet and swap war stories and wrestle afterwards in feats of strength.

  • oh yeah, that's where else I've seen him!

  • That's why you were not a writer for Seinfeld

  • well i like the show, but this was a stupid storyline, what would u have done huh

  • one of my most favorite episodes

  • it really is

  • that's hilarious
