Let me know man,i been itching and dying to know the names of his songs that he played, some songs i,m familiar with such as the ones by Jomanda,Ten City,Jay Williams,Dee Hollaway but there are somes not so familiar such as a song called "Let Your Love Shine On Me,really liked the song,im searching the tube for this song and no luck,i thought it was Lachandra but it still doesn,t turn up,definitely let me know of the song list from Tony,s mix from the late 80,s early 90,s.
I'm going to assume this clip is from 1986 because i hear Dhar Braxton " jump back " at the end. as for the song ID, i don't have a clue
Thats what I love about T. Humphries, he would play anything and everything. In the good old days of KISS, he would play rap, electro, new wave, dance, classic soul all in his sets.
Subject's "Celebrate" is the EPITOME of house...... that is my all time favorite..ALL TIME FAVOOOOORITE. The hell with the song you're trying to ID... you should be more than satisfied with "CEEEEELEBRATE"!!!!
i cant believe you know about this song Celebrate...i had it on cassette back in the mid 80's from an old late nite 98.7 kiss mastermix set and played it thousands of times.....please tell me how i can get a copy of it..can you email me a copy? thankx a bunch
Sounds like Belouis Some...or another group I am trying to think of thier name... some new wave from 1980's There are old WLIR track lists it might be somewhere on there.
It was from Europe. This definitely sounds like a sound track from a movie.
It sounds like the start of that record was sampled or something... i've heard just the 1st part of that cut... the kinda salsa/acid groove...

This doesn't even sound like house music as much as a cheesy miami vice style action soundtrack!! Tony is god like but I don't like this stuff.
