@killadabilla try what the guy did in the video, turn the phone off, hold down the home button while you plug the usb cable in, this puts the iphone into restore mode where you can restore the original apple firmware

@derekmorell make sure the firmware AND version of redsn0w are both for your specific firmware version. i had a lot of headaches trying to install redsn0w until i realized i was trying to use the 4.1 version of redsn0w to install the 4.2.1 version firmware, versions need to match. hope this helps

I have the same exact phone...3GS... I jailbroke and unlocked it last night to use with t-mobile USA. Everything worked fine, except a few hours later, the speaker just stopped working. I hear sound through the headphone, but nothing through the speaker. I tried inserting the headphone in and out of the jack several times like some people suggested, didn't work. I blew air into it, didn't work. I even restored the original factory setting, didn't work either. Anyone had this problem?
