  • Uber cute, what good friends! Rottie mix looks like a puppy, all "Come ON let's keep going!"

    Beee-YOOO-tiful Akita!

  • Pebbles looks just like my dog, Handi! Is it an American Akita?!

  • akita fight a rottweiler???!!!?? damn this is a little rottweiler and a akita PLAY...the Rottweiler is 1 year at most... (sorry of my bad english) =)

  • I think they're playing ..

  • ive actullay seen a akita maul and injure a rottwieler, i put my money on a akita over a pitbull and german sheppard or rottwieler ,i gaurenttee the akida will win

  • @reformedbro1 You cannot guarantee that it will win. The vast majority of dogs are not very good fighting dogs. You ignore the individual's personality which highlights your complete ignorance of all the breeds listed.

  • they r playing not fighting

  • That Akita makes the Rottweiler look like a Toy Poodle!

  • @DeathPenguin1000 That's not a fully grown Rottweiler.

  • ive got an American Akita and a RottweilerxGSD mix, the rottie mix is more obeidient but the Akita is more intelligent. The Akita doesnt get along with other people or Dogs, while the rottie/gsd mix does. Simliar to your dogs ay.

  • thats the only rotti ive ever seen with a tail

  • @flexin007 I have an Akita Rott mix and he is vicious!!!

  • did u know two fully grown akitas can take down one bear

  • Great dog's, but, isn't a akita inu, it's a american akita.

  • @juanchizeni I agree. If it's akita inu...sometimes you feel life threatning danger if it's not really trained properly. Japanese Pure Akita Inu does "gear shfts" like a Super car.

  • @juanchizeni yep. If it's Akita inu ...internal organs of the other dog will be exposed by now...people has no clue ...Akita inu have to be really trained. but Both of them (Akita -Inu & Akita dog) are fiercely loyal & it's like having a secret service guy who can jump bettween bad guy & stop the bullets for you. That's only common thing between Akita Inu & Akita dog. I've seen Akita inu get hit by an America SUV on 60 mph...on street. he was flying up in the air...but he had problem!really.

  • @flexin007 well rotti's were bred for hearding akita's were bred for protection and were bred to kill bears so would imagine akitas are better guard dogs....even though rotts are great too but they can be a little more human agressive were akitas are more dog aggressive but do ur homework just remember......it must be socialized thats what im doing wit mine right now

  • @flexin007 i like both but i decided to get an american akita because there very loyal , highly intelligent and very protective of your family and household but also make very good pets with proper socialization and the proper owner...Rotti's on the other hand (males) can be very very dominant if the owner doesnt take charge at the get go.....and that really goes along with any breed but especially the rotti and akita ...plus there life span is a lot shorter then the akita its lifespan 11-15

  • @NETwarrior9 Why was your Akita dangerous? Because of his owner.

  • i have had 4 akitas 2 male 2 female.you need to train the dog as early as possible. also very aggressive .not known as a dog that barks alot or a jumper like a sheperd.i would not own another type after owning akitas.it's just my opinion.i can't stress enough to train and socalize the dog.don't worry about the dog not protecting you.chinolok0 good luck

  • are akitas as dangerous as some ppl say? I've read some of your replies which say that akitas are more like a one person dog.. and I am getting one cus I get kinda lonely sometimes xD getting her in like 2 days yay haha

  • both dogs are beautifull and i love big dogs cuz by mine opinion they can protect your home or even you.both dogs are large and intelligent.i like akita very much, cuz i like this type of dogs, but i prefer the rottie.i have one rottie and now is 3 months old and he is very smart and peacefull.he plays a lot and we always run for hours and still is energetic.some ppl says that the rottweilers are the most intelligent breed of all.he is very easy to be trained and very obidient.i choose the rottie

  • Wow never seen an Akita so well behaved. An akita in my neighborhood killed a few dogs and my friends dog and had to be put down but I still love these dogs. When ever you find yourself in the presence of an Akita SALUTE YOUR SUPERIOR!

  • so funny and lovely

  • I had an pure bread Akita Male for 7yrs and then brought a pit bull pup female into our home; they became the best of Bud's. Both were fixed so there wasn't going to be any pups, they played and cuddled each other like no other animals I've ever seen. My family and home were safer from gangs and burglars too. They were cool with other friends and family too. But they had the instinct to get protective at the right time. Interesting how they'd know when to get territorial. Bad vibes I guess.

  • rottweilers are fearless inteligent dogs, akitas are agressive & dumb as dogshit

  • I have had an Akita in the past. Great family dog, friendly to everyone. yet one of the most protective dogs in the world. A giant teddy bear, unless you try to be aggressive to his people. (family) great with children. very patient big puppies. I miss the one I had... the only bad thing about the Akita.... they shed... tremendously, actually that is an understatement. but great dogs.

  • i want an akita and a french mastiff

  • lol isaiah first of all dogs didn't actually come from wolves secondly dogs are not stupid enough to think we are the same species as them they know we are different and the whole dominance thing has been proven wrong too

  • @angio16

Yes, they did, they are related more to an wolf than to an coyote and/or other type of canine.

  • @flexin007 akitas are a very primitive form of dog they are much like they're ancestors which are wolves meaning they are much more aggressive, and much more dominant, you need to be a very strong owner...with a good owner any dog will listen very well...also, once they know you you become part of their pack...they no longer see you as their human owner but part of their family, when wolves form packs your part of the pack until death so this is why i believe akitas would be much more loyal

  • @flexin007 lol then the whole loyalty thing shouldnt even be questioned lol thats one of the reasons they are famous

  • @flexin007 Aktia's are definitely more loyal, look up "hachiko"

  • @flexin007 i own an akita now and i have 2 pits one is 10 and one is 7 the akita is 3 and it already is top dog i think akitas are the strongest dogs around and nothing beats there bond with owners

  • @flexin007 My dream Dog is Kangal Dog aka akbas dog! that dog is the worlds strongest dog and rare!

  • lol that Akita is like, your too weak shortstock, im just gonna sit here XD

  • lol theyre like

im gonna kick you in the nutz ^_^

naw im gonna kick you in da nutz ¬_¬

  • is not rottweiler it is a batard

  • lovely akita but shes small, is she a mix?

  • @MOODYSCOOBY .....thats small?

  • @Roderick2117 yeah i have a akita bitch and my mate got a rottweiler bitch who is couple weeks older and alot smaller and both dogs are pedigree

  • Thats not an akita fight smart 1

  • @flexin007 The rottweiler is more loyal and obedient (he has his CGC and TDI certifications), but the akita is definitely more intelligent. The akita is more of a one person dog; the rottie is more of a family dog. The rottie gets along with other dogs and all people (outside of "his" territory), the akita does not. Just depends on what you want, I guess. If I had to say who I prefer, it would be Gus, the rottie.

  • @iheartmygus akita has got to be more loyal, but as u said mainly to one master, can b, not a family dog

  • @iheartmygus WHat??! Akitas are way more loyal. Remember Hachiko? Unless you're talking about the American Akitas, that's a different story.

  • @FattyDudley lol does that look like a japanese akita to you?

  • @iheartmygus no, of course. REAL akitas look better. Americans screwed the breed. In fact, Americans could ruin any breed in order just to make them look pretty. But, in the case of Akitas, they just made it look worse. And American Akitas are more AGGRESSIVE.

  • @FattyDudley I definitely disagree with you. As far as most of the world is concerned (excluding the US and Canada, which hopefully, that will change soon) there are two Akita breeds. The Akita Inu, or Japanese Akita, and the American Akita. They look very different and are yet very obviously both still Akitas. I have owned American Akitas my whole life and adore them. I'd love to own a Japanese Akita one day, too.

  • @CrasieKitten Japanese Akitas look GORGEOUS. American Akitas look more imposing, though. Yeah America and Canada are stubborn. America doesn't realize the changes they made to the Japanese Akita really sucks, and still want to merge them into one breed.

  • @FattyDudley I don't think their changes suck. I just think Americans (and I am one) need to realize that their changes created a different breed. Not an inferior breed, not a superior breed, just a DIFFERENT breed. They are both Akitas, but they have enough differences to be further categorized into American and Japanese. Like I said, I've only ever owned American (and love them), but would like to own a Japanese at some point.

  • @CrasieKitten Nah. There is Pure Japanese AKITA INU , Then Akita dog (American Akita) Pure Japanese Akita inu is really like a wild Animal. yet it is dog & behaves like half & half & daredevil.... imagine , the little dog compare to a huge standing bear & even he is alone he'll jump & go for it. ... to protect you . it is wilder than & worse than Husky/ wolf mix. Akita dog (American Akita) is more like teddy bear but both of them are loyal.

  • @maxinpains I can't really say anything about the Japanese Akita, because I've never had one, but as for the American Akita...I know for a fact that every single one I've ever owned would do whatever it took to protect me and my family, whether that meant taking on a bear, bullet, or bus. They're fiercely loyal and incredibly intelligent. I can only assume that Japanese Akitas are, too.

  • @CrasieKitten

LOL i'm sure your Akita dog is loyal & protect your family & home better than any other dogs.

but not for hunting or taking bullet, bus, then ultimately a Bear Attack? No.I think American Akita dog are sneaky in that way to able to avoid the problems or just Japanese AKITA INU is just too courageous & reckless & not thinking it's life. It's almost they were born to do hunting. They are like lieutenant Dan from a Movie "Forrest Gump" wild & untamed but born to be real soldier .

  • @iheartmygus

Pure Japanese Akita inu is wild...man....If you seen it when they goes hunting...It's no JOKE.

it's totally different than Akita dog. Akita dog is a toy compared to Akita Inu.

  • @FattyDudley

yeah there was even a statue placed in the exact same spot Hachiko spent waiting for his owner....if that aint loyalty, i don't know what is lol

  • @FattyDudley what about elk hounds or chow chows???

  • @xXForTheRecordXx I don't know, but I do know one thing - all dogs are extremely loyal.

  • @FattyDudley American Akitas are just as loyal as the Japanese ones

  • @iheartmygus The Akita is known for its loyalty, and its intelligence, my dog would climb the fence just to get out and run around, shes an escape artist, Im not so sure about obedient, she has a mind of her own but she does have her tricks. As for tough, definitely Akita, the Japanese fighting dog. Whether its a Japanese or American Akita doesnt matter.

  • @cw112132 I had a friend who does not walk his Akita dog & keep his don in his yard all the time. the dog turned to be escape artist. the reason was the dog really doesn't wanna poop in his house or a yard so the dog really wanted go out & do his job outside. the poor thing is that owner is really idiot &can't understand Akita doesn't wanna soil his house or even his yard. Akita is that loyal & smart. The Vet told me samething too.

  • @iheartmygus

lmao, yeah your your wrong about 1 thing an thats they loyalty bit, Akita's are THEE most loyal animals in the world. Hachiko is a great example, spent the first 3 years of its life with its owner and used to meet his owner outside the train station everyday at a certain time, the owner passed away but Hachi waited there everday for the next 9years of its life. didn't u know Akitas were the first ever human to animal companionship. Akitas are the greatest in my opinion

  • arent they just playing

  • damn even if i know is just in my head, i will never trust a akita, dont know why just dont like them faces.... still nice big dog

  • I have had both Akitas and Rotties that are excellent family and protection dogs. Just be aware that they need proper training and should be watched around children and strangers.

  • is that akita a mix with shepered?

  • I have 2 hundred pound Akitas and they are PERFECT family dogs but still protect the house all the same. Their nature is not to be agressive but they need lots of room to romp around in and if they dont they are either abused because they need the room or they are neglected and put into shelters which generate some Akitas agressive behavior. For future pet owners, DONT RULE OUT THE AKITA THEY ARE GREAT FAMILY DOGS.

  • No offense but you obviously have no clue wtf u are talking about. Akitas ARE great family dogs if taken at a young age with young children, otherwise don't put them near small children. Aggressivness is typically natural for these dogs but can be changed depending on if raised around other breeds of dog and people. They are sweet dogs and love to play, they DONT NEED a big area but it is better as for 90% of dogs. 200 lbs... BS biggest one i've seen is 140 lbs (one i grew up around).

  • @littlegrim123 Im not really sure how you read my comment but by the "DONT RULE OUT THE AKITA THEY ARE GREAT FAMILY DOGS" i would think that you wouls have taken that THEY ARE GREAT FAMILY DOGS. I think very highly of akitas as do you. We both have experience and I asure you I do know what i am talking about.

  • you ass the where breed to kill black bears learn your history, the samuri breed them in the 1600s ty.

  • Trusted Japanese poilce dogs. Very intelligent and rarely bark. They are a national icon in Japan and very respected. Great pets if trained well.

  • @adamramoth

I agree, if i were to take out the GSD as my #1 fav (which im not xD) i would have to go with the Akita as a trusty partner, NO OTHER DOG, my least favorite is the pit, rot and dobby (they just dont suit me)

five fav dogs down the list-

    1. German Shepherd

    2. Akita

    3. Kai-Ken

    4. Mastiff

    5. Kishu

    mainly Japanese breeds XD

  • 0:34 rotwiler

  • 0:29 "ive had enough"

0:36 "no, really, leave me alone"

0:47 "I win and im not gonna move!"

    :-)

  • that rot is not full rott, looks half lab too me..

  • The akita's a beaut. They're born to hunt so generally nothing will overpower it :)

  • akita would kill a rottie in afight. its all about wt they was bred for. rotweilers are more likly to attack humans. both good dogs tho. and btw your akita s a beuty, so is ya rott

  • yeah a akita not let him live if he fights a rott

  • @SOCCERNOTFUTBOL

    'your basically an idiot'

thats rich coming from someone as clueless as you

  • I should state that I am 100 % against dogfighting but if the akita was not there that dog could have very easily killed my lab because of one idiot and his crazy dog.The akita had a little bite on its lip whereas the rottweiler was dripping blood from everywhere.Poetic justice because I predict a very big vet bill and maybe an owner who thinks twice before letting such a dangerous dog run loose.

  • I was walking my black labrador yesterday with my friend who has an akita when the biggest most vicious rottweiler you have ever seen came charging at us.The akita and rottweiler must have been fighting for about 10 minutes before the idiot owner showed up declaring his dog was a killer and a security dog.Unfortunately this was before he realised the state his dog was in.

  • How old is the rot??

  • He was about 4 months old at the time of the video. He's 16 months now and much bigger than the akita (she's 9 years old).

  • how big would a akita be when its old enough and is is a good dog for kids?

  • depends. i've had 3 akitas in my lifetime. largest was 118 lbs. my current one now is a runt at 100 lbs. They're ONLY good with kids if you raise them to be. It's all about the owner- training the dog and socializing the dog. Akitas are NOT for everyone!

  • It depends how you raise it... If you want a dog for kids, get a German Shorthaired Pointer. Friendliest dog for kids.

  • dogs play by fighting, mainly male ones. The female dogs like to stay out of it.

  • they are just plaing man...

  • If pebbles wanted to it would kill that in a matter of seconds.

  • fuck up pussyole

  • so cute ^___^

  • lol at 0:45 gus says i had it with you!!! pebbles says what did i do?

  • had Pebbles just shed it's coat around the time of this vid?

  • she had been shaved for the summer and was still growing in

  • w8 below this did u actually expect to see these dogs fighting and gotpissed off cuz they wernt....................scum is all you are

  • she's a lazy fighter :>

  • lol, All Akita's are lazy fighters if they don't feel up to the challenge. My Akita just lays there and let's my little Chi chew on her paws, her face, and her ears, for about 2 hours then she will get sick of it and pin the little guy buy the neck, it's kind of cute she puts her mouth over him and actually pins his neck to the ground, but she doesn't bite. Just putting him in his place by showing him dominance.
