I'll tell ya what, not matter who the canidate is, we as Americans need to rally around that canidate because i'm sure we can all agree that another four years of Obama could mean the ultimate collapse of our nation. I like Newt, Paul, and Santorum, but no matter who it is they will get my support.

I have become a Newt believer because of the debates, with the exception of Ron Paul supporters (who let's be honest wear rose colored glasses) I think every voter needs to watch these forms/debates before voting.

@nmhamilton7 I agree, I can't help but be a little worried that many of the Paul supporters will cause Obama to be re-elected if Paul doesn't get the republican nomination due to their anger and unwillingness to see the potential of any other canidate. I like much of what Ron Paul believes in but I don't see him taking Obama down in any of the debates they would face. I think Newt is the one to do that and like Paul has a proven record.

I respect Rick Santorum and feel that while he is wrong about a huge number of things he at least has integrity. That being said, the idea that social issues are a priority is thoughtless. Would you rather fail at fixing the economic, debt and international issues and also fail to fix social issues or would you rather just not address social issues and succeed on the economy, debt and foreign affairs. Those are the only options at this point. Wishing it were otherwise wont make it so.

Given how this campaign has gone, if there was still one more year before the primaries you'd eventually start hearing about how all of the other candidates have always been against the war in Iraq and how they came up with the idea of auditing the fed.
