Of course its fast... they obviously sped it up because they had time constraints... it's hard to cut verses out of this song. They already cut out the instrumental break. If they did the song at regular tempo they would have easily add another 30-60 secs to the song which may have went over the time allotted.

Was the tempo too fast?? I think so, but the tempo was ordered by the show's directors, not the band.

He made a great point about JCS fans. I hadn't seen a live broadway style show before JCS, nor do I plan on ever again. I am not really a fan of them. But when JCS came to town, I got tickets. Both Anderson and Neely were bloody amazing. Not much impresses me, but I was knocked off my feet that night.

People went to that show cause the music kicks fuckin ass, it's a rock musical which would make more sense why its audiences typically don't go to many other musicals. He was the best to ever play the part of Judas, he brought heart and confusion to the role that I think is lacking in some of the other preformances. His Judas was confused and also felt betrayed by Jesus and what he thought they were doing.  Love him, miss him and that incredible voice. RIP

I am a huge fan of JCS, Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson. All of us truly miss Carl - his passing was a loss of so much talent!
