UGH. I Just hate it when people mistake this... BRS is NOT Hatsune Miku. They're just voiced by the same person and happen to look a little similar.

Ryo saw the picture, then wrote the song, then had Miku sing it. (Because I guess like you said, they happened to look similar)

i hope they go forward with this project, personally i found the OVA to be a bit of a disappointment but i see such potential in the series, it has an ability to touch on subjects most would and do try to avoid
