  • all I can say is "Fuck yeah"

  • 27 dislikes?! Who in the hell can dislike Zepplin? Guess Beiber and GaGa fans......duh!!

  • i just want to be able to touch anyone who has seen Led Zep in concert.

  • @Voluptuouslola "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I saw Led Zeppelin in concert, who wants to touch me?....I said WHO WANTS TO FUCKING TOUCH ME!?" I didn't but I know where you're coming from, and it was a good place to put that South Park reference.

  • Achilles used to be a famous God, but then he took an arrow in the tendon...

  • This is what you get when Gods sing about Gods ...

  • @saintvitus808 I can do better than that....1976 2nd row center Houston, TX. Like looking up at four Gods!!! Cheers!

  • I was at this concert, 7th row center. this was and will always be one of the greatest times of my life.

    Led Zeppelin will live forever.

  • @SaintVitus808 We envy you!! you are so lucky!!! all the best!

  • All right, in order to hear this song I had to sit through a commercial for Oprah's next chapter. How dare they! Such disrespect and insult to this great band. Pretty sure if we clicked on this song most of us don't give a shit about Oprah.

  • Studio versions please the ears more but any musician can respect how hard it is to reproduce something this fast + technical, live, with just four guys, 100% analog with patch cords, no auto-tune, etc. And if playing it isn't hard enough, think about writing it...

  • Awesome, my favorite of the many great Zep songs! Epic!

  • OMG satin pants. I hated that shit, my butt aways slid off the drum throne and the constant readjustment would kill your back by the end of the night.

  • Nice to see video clips of Zep. However, this song requires the best quality audio to be appreciated. This song, and "No Quarter" are amazing songs when listened to in as high of quality as is (was) available at the time. True Rock Gods.

  • AHHHH the mighty presence!!!

  • hands down the BEST song EVER! if this does shake you to your core and make u wanna rock out till the sun comes out than go away! two types of people in this world, followers and leaders...and we know where Led Zeppelin fits...GODS of Rock

  • Amazing! Best performance of the song

  • I wish Zep had lasted long enought to do this presicion, wrist-breaking tempos, with a subtle but tight, hard funk to it. I loved when they went this direction! Downright intimidating stuff to try and play live.

  • Psychadelic Orgasms.. This song is so amazing.. Like all LZ songs.. Best band that ever stepped on earth. Happy Birthday Jimmy :D

  • Happy birthday Jimmy :)

  • Bonzo is brutal in this.

  • @MultiOrange78 Bonzo is ALWAYS brutal

  • 27 people had their girlfriends stolen by Robert Plant after the show.

  • Where's in my time of dying?

  • best group ever. period.... no one compares no one is close. yes we all know all the mystic behind them and most their music. regardless to that zeppelin put into motion things that have still not be done since. all 4 played their parts perfectly.

  • this is fucking mind blowing

  • @rob5000x1 absorootri

  • They hit their peak in '75 with Physical Graffiti. Nothing they did afterwards could ever touch their earlier works

  • @hersheymom2three I beg to differ. I find Presence a much greater work than LZ1.

  • The chemistry between the four of them is beyond AMAZING.WITHOUT "ALL" four their is NO LED-ZEPPELIN!!!! IN CONCERT AND BEYOND!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!

  • God Of Rock N` Roll

  • Apart from the pure awe and amazement that comes from this performance, what people need to take away from this is that there is a lot of bullshit in the conventional telling of the Led Zep legend. People will say that they were in decline during this period - mainly because of Jimmy's addiction - but actually they were at a peak in their live performances as far as power and emotion. Not perfect fluency, but Emotion. When they were on in 77, they were better than anyone, ever.

  • @mielazul So true. I have bootlegs documenting concerts from 69-80, and some of my favorite cuts from 77.

  • JUST SO FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

  • jimmy page god

  • this quilify as hard rock or metal?

  • @cheesydarkside It's qualified* as neither. It's qualified as just Zeppelin

  • No, it's not just noise. It's a 34 year old relatively primitive audience recording of the greatest rock band of all time. Depending on the quality, you sometimes have to adjust your ears and expectations when listening to boots.....Bonham sounds jackhammer powerful. Get the 2003 "Led Zeppelin DVD" for 5+ hours of pure brilliance.

  • @3434arc1 I have a friend who's like that....if the quality isn't perfect he thinks it's not worthy of his time and will complain....I am like "you f*ckin" dick....be grateful it exists in any format and shut your mouth unless you can produce anything better or plan on sharing something online 500,000+ people would click on, you f*ckin prick"

    I do love the guy though..even though he's a douche bag. :)

  • @3434arc1 this certainly isnt a primitive recording, the footage was nice and the sound wasnt too bad either

  • I feel like I'm the only one that sees the king has no clothes on.

This is just noise. It's horrible.

The studio version is much better.

  • @TA152H01 It's a boot, man, recorded on the best technology had to offer in 1977. The live versions have their own character, and the pure chaos of this has its charm.

  • Como puede tirar tanta magia con solo unas notas? que groso que es, por dios...

  • @LedMatt94 tal cual. ademas no solo tocarlas, es INVENTARLAS lo que es imposible de imitar

  • what the hell is jimmy wearing? I mean it looks cool but. Is he a Wizard or what? He had a black one too. With Dragons on that one as well. Meanwhile Bluto looks like he just came off a Big Mac attack. It it true John Paul Jones really wanted to play for The Who? And Did Jeff Beck Have a heroin problem like jimmy and Clapton?

  • When it comes to Zep, no song will sound like the studio version! who wants to hear that! you should stay home and listen to their albums! P.

  • not related to the vid but jimmy page bought aleister crowley's abbey of thelema...fun fact for ya

  • the greatest rock band ever

  • To all of you that need to say "Jimmy is sloppy" just remember Jimmy Page could piss on the guitar strings and people will pay to listen

  • @Jimmy1tooth Jimmy's a great guitarist, but even the best can't really be the best when he's shot up on heroin.

  • @Jimmy1tooth they'd pay more!

  • I think they should have nicked named him "Bluto" instead of Bonzo at this point. He's Fat as Hell. And what the hell is that noise in the background that sounds like a stagecouch. I like how robert can change his shirt so fast.

  • @MrAgitator That "noise" is JPJ's Alembic.

  • @MrAgitator - cos they're magic!

  • I was at this show but different day in LA. My first concert ever!

  • i got goose bumps and the hair on the back of my head is standing up what more can i say

  • Jimmy is my biggest influence, but this perfemonce is too sloppy, expecially during the solo =(

  • @ClassicRock1992 Yeah, I'd have to agree that it's a bit loose; however, I really like how raw this performance is!! Great spontaneity. I can live with a few minor slip ups.

  • @ClassicRock1992 Psh. YOU play stoned with a mouth full of stamps.

  • Jimmy Page fan, furever.

  • DAT BASS

  • oh my lord that was possibly the coolest thing ive ever seen

  • thats the guitars should sound

  • there will never be a band like Led zeppelin white snake can only dream of being this good

  • @blaiseman72newyorker I'm just going to mention Dream Theater and leave it at that...

  • i will always LOVE this BAND.....

  • I just saw this video in in he related.

"Oh Shit" were my words exactly

  • one of my favorite boots. Thanks to MM for his wonderful audience recordings. His mastery of 1977 recording technology was unmatched. Or maybe he just knew where to sit. Badgeholders and Listen to this Eddie are classics!! I still listen to them as much today as when I first accuired them on vinyl way back in '82.

  • Damn, this song is amazing in so many different ways. Listen to those drums...Bonham hit soo hard.

  • for badgeholders only

  • LED ZEPPELIN INVENTED SWAG

  • My favourite song! :D

  • @mudmen1000 yes, its totaly different Page then the younger one - its like first he was jedi, then darth vader :D but still the same god

  • Oh wow holy shit! what an amazing preformance

  • CRAP ! When I hear these artists (Led Zepp and others music god), I always wonder "What would I don't give to were born in 1940'/1950' and not in these fucking 1990' !!!"

  • My Dad would have been my age in that year (17) and damn him for being lucky enough to go see a Zep concert this good!!!! He had the best bands to choose from and I got shit lol

  • not lovin the sound on the snare

  • no way in hell a youtube video does justice to zeppelin live. especially the '77 tour!

  • GOD

  • This is the '77 version

  • Jones and Bonham are like a great big fuckin sledge hammer through this song!! Immense!!

  • No wonder this is so expensive on the i pod!

  • This is actually one of their best concerts from 77, 77 having some of their best and worst shows. I don't know why, but RPs voice got sped up in the studio version. I always though that his 77 voice was always best for this one, during their best 77 shows, the la, ny shows, detroit, cleveland chicago, pontiac,(etc) he still had the range from 75, but lost the occasional grufness. At their peak, nobody could get close to them. They were just unlucky sometimes. This is still a great performance!

  • I love this band but a lot of time they sucked live.

  • no disrespect but wat you saying is wrong

they have too much energy and they are awesome

  • @6Bloody6metallica6 Same here but Page was fucked so many gigs it showed.

  • @shakedownstreet48 well he is one of the best guitarist in the world , and he is a human and we all not perfect so of course he would fuck up and mate this song is hard to play on live so i think that's the reason why he was fucking up

  • @6Bloody6metallica6 What i ment to say is that Page was to stoned alot of the time , i have seen him pretty messed up on stage so that will effect the band.

  • @shakedownstreet48

    what's your point ? yr opinion was that he was a fuck-up? (&) that's important ?

  • Plant's voice at 9:06-9:12 is absolutely fucking phenomal.

  • doesn't sound like the studio version ! Musy be the 'heroine'...Cretins . If you dont understand live Zeppelin you probably never will

  • John Paul Jones

  • heroine is a hell of a drug man. pages guitar is soo outa tune

  • @krootsj what do you know about 'heroine" ?

  • @krootsj his guitar did heroine?

  • Always sing jim's solos room mate looks at me like WTF

  • shrooms n led zeppelin= LOVE

  • my ipod has god on it (Led Zeppelin)

  • 9:15 i love that slight guitar wine

  • disliking this leads to suicide.

  • @69ablechey so the cops think...

  • @69ablechey I would say homicide.

  • @wyattheuser weak

  • @RisingSon011 you got sumthin better ta say

  • @wyattheuser i just said it

  • @RisingSon011 uh huh, loser

  • @wyattheuser Couldn't agree more pal!

  • @thesimguy1905 what? about that risingson guy? is that what u agree about? if so, im glad to know u agree

  • @wyattheuser I agreed with somebody who said:RAP=Retards Attempting Poetry, and ROCK=Rythm Of Cool Kickass music.I don't know what that risingson guy said!

  • @thesimguy1905 oh that rock acroynm... yeah, glad u noticed, type that up a while ago, and the rising son thing, well he said' weak' i say ' u got sumthin better to say' he say ' i just said it'...so i got confused, but yeah, glad u agree with rock, cuase u can dance to it better than rap

  • ouh la la ! c'est monstrueux !!!!

  • The amount of phaser that is used in this song gets me fucking stiff

  • @YoshiAddict lol

  • killer jam...

  • Bonham is INSane on this jam!! OMG!! & JPJ. Wow

  • Holy shit!! This is even B4 the album Presents came out what its off huh!! They just stalk the stage. Sooooo savage

  • @myowntruth44 Presence was released in early 1976. This tour is in the summer of 1977. But true, quite savage, which is really all that matters.

  • @jaysfca Really!!? Wow. They put there first 4 albums out so fast. Not much ta do with this haha. There last almub is Coda tho rt??

  • FiNaLLY! i hear this song Live now i can Die in Peace.

  • LOL at the debate of Led Zeppelin being the best. These men define musical genius. The epitome of a band that gels. No one today even comes close. Foo Fighters are in awe every time they play with the genius bass of John Paul Jones on their set.

One regret I have is that I never got to see them live.I have to hear about what I missed from my sister.

Wish FM would play more obscure Zep. My top 3 faves: 10 years gone, Achilles Last Stand, and Wanton Song.

    Len

    One Over 99 Ministry

    Luke 15:7

  • @ONEOVER99 yes ten years gone!!!!!

  • @flyeroftheyear4444 I don't think Jimmy Page really owns an ipod dude!

  • @flyeroftheyear4444 oh and when they die you know there screwed because at least once a week god will be like "hey you know that show you played back in77? do it again."

  • @flyeroftheyear4444 God sticks to vinyl

  • @flyeroftheyear4444 It's called an Igod.

  • @flyeroftheyear4444 I can't stop liking this comment.

  • @flyeroftheyear4444 And god loves this comment

  • their just toooooo gooodd!!!!!!!!!.........

  • this is just outfucking unbelievable - jimmy rules

  • One of the best bands ever. PErfect

  • @mrseasavila not one of the best. they are the best :))

  • This probably be the music of the Gods.

  • I think that the pro-shot visuals here are from the Seattle video from-77.

  • Man, these guys were the best of their era. I think this was at the Fabulous Forum in L.A. I saw them there and at the Long Beach Arena.

  • what a great gift they are, to the world

  • ur videos are awesome and everything. but some of them are very short and u cant listen or watch the whole thing, man i want to listen to the whole thing hahaha anywho u do a good job anyhow :P

  • this video is dildos

  • I wish I lived in the 70's cause I dont need video games and all this fancy stuff.... I just want Rock n Roll!!

  • Probably the best I have seen or heard from the 77 tour.....anything better out there to be seen???

  • @gjrock70 80 frankfurt It amazing nd look for more 77 thats my favorite tour

  • @kildare97 Hey! '77 is my favorite tour, too. We're in the minority now, for various reasons, but I think that as time passes, people will appreciate the genius that was behind the presentation and performances of their set on this tour.

  • @mielazul Yes I love the '77 tour It's great.

Achilles is amazing during the tour.

And somebody tell me whats wrong with Seattle 77 Its a awesome show people that WERE ACTUALLY there said it was epic

  • @kildare97 The set-list was definitely the most ambitious in 77, and Rob had finally figured out how to deal with his vocal damage and had mastered a new, richer tone with a lot of emotion and power (9:15 here gives me chills). Rob's voice was hurting in Seattle, though, and Jimmy was unusually subdued (in a lot of footage from 77 shows, he's dancing and jumping around like crazy). But you're right, a lot of people still had their minds blown! It would have been great to be there

  • @mielazul I beg to disagree, sir. 1970 was the year of the Zep thanks to RAH. But who can deny this is orgasmic-music. Only Zep from other years can rival Zep.

  • @willou901 1970 is a great choice, too. It would be cool if there was a good recording/film of the legendary show in Bath that year. But the Blueberry Hill bootleg from '70 is classic...and Hampton Virginia is a really good one. And RAH like you mentioned. I like the US 1972 tour very much - it had such a positive vibe, and they were at a really powerful musical stage. I especially love that "deep drone" they'd open with before blasting off with Immigrant song...and the acoustic set too.

  • @kildare97 And that's what people kind of ignore when nitpicking various live Led Zeppelin recordings. Their PRESENCE alone could fill these stadiums with electricity. That's what you hear from so many fans who were lucky enough to have seen them - it was a really powerful effect. And my feeling is that it was strongest in 1977, because when you listen to the bootlegs the audiences are absolutely INSANE at every show. The earlier tours have an occasional dull crowd, but none in 77.

  • @gjrock70 cream i'm so glad live at the LA FORUM 1968!
