  • hey man. did you know that if you can run that game in high settings and its smooth, it means it can run every single game in the world. Nice Job. my dad is going to build a gaming rig with i5.

  • @Warfreak57 nice one enjoy, its really fun to do, id deffinately get the i7 tho, theyre pretty cheap now.

  • Great JOB man on your first PC build it looks really nice.

  • never mind didnt go far enough in the video, but great rig :)

  • hey, great computer, if you have any 'powerful' games you should do a couple of gameplays for us, just to see (especially when crossfired)

  • the cpu cooler is pointing the wrong way turn it 90 degrees so its blowing hot air out ;)

  • Sony Vegas 10

    :)

  • Maybe you could do some vids of the quality of the system. You could also do like an update, showing any changes you've made etc. cheers

  • How much did all this cost? cheers

  • @xTalentHD thx for the interest m8, probably about £1200-1300 about six months ago, if you were to get the same components again now there might be a saving on them now, ive got the 6870 instead now so saving quit a bit there, but it stills plays everytning sweet as, and itll be cheeper to crossfire when the time comes, thx again for the interest, any ideas about what other videos i should post?

  • please overclock ur cpu and gpu.... i would recomend u overclock ur 930 to 4.2 ghz and ur gpu 5870 bcus its the special vapour chamber cooling design and built for overclocking....look it up on google abt how much to overclock ur vapor 5870 and u should be able to render videos much quicker and gain 5 to 10 fps more in games...by the way u've not aligned ur pcie slots on ur board to ure case so look that up. cheers mate.

  • i love how it says nivida at the start when you boot up crysis. its like " -_- im useing ati bitch"

  • Use Sony Vegas

  • Nice build!! Though I suggest you get a good monitor at least 1920x1080p to do that graphics card justice!!

    Cheers

  • @XxHardcorexxGamerxX yeah im currently looking for one, any suggestions?

  • @MrStephen205 Sure the Samsung PX2370 which looks pretty good and got a cnet editors choice. It does full HD. Though you could go beyond HD to a 2560-by-1440 display on the apple cinema display! :-)

  • @XxHardcorexxGamerxX that was one of the ones that i was looking @ and the lg (cant remember the model)

  • @MrStephen205 MAKE SURE IT IS 120 HZ!!!! DON'T BUY A CRAPPY 60 HZ MONITOR

  • @XxHardcorexxGamerxX

From what I understand you need an apple to use the new cinema displays because they use Mini Display ports. Don't know if you can get that as a third party addon for gfx cards but I know all mac products have that, plus its a glossy screen which sucks.

  • Hello MrStephen, I saw your comment on my channel so I am checking out your videos, I think that you are doing a good job with this, but you need to find a different type of videos to post up. I would recommend a game, anything from Minecraft to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 would work and you would get quite a few more views. I recommend playing minecraft and using Fraps to record it. And for video editing software, Sony Vegas all the way. Keep up the good work!

  • @XDRK609 thanks for the suggestions, what vids do you post?

  • @MrStephen205 I don't currently post videos but I am looking into making a Minecraft Let's Play.

  • hi mate,

    nice vid and rig!

did u find that the titan cooler blocked the ram space at all?

  • @jpeacock1234 No, its fine, i couls get another stick in the very far left one too.

  • Do you play left 4 dead?

  • @PureOxCash I dont, is it good?

  • @MrStephen205 in my opinion number 1 is better then 2 and if ur into killing waves of zombies while passing 5 chapters with 5 missions its a game for you :)

  • For the benchmarking/recording and so on, get fraps, it's free. Basically it's a screen recording program and it how's your fps as well. Keep the vids coming, I'd like to see some benchmarks on 3D mark and so on.

  • use Adobe after effects and sony vegas 9.0

  • Great vids to follow I watched them all mate. Big thumbs up here. About a good editing software Vegas would be you best bet. Again big thumbs up :)

  • lol @ getting shot at and saying "see that waters pretty nice"

  • For editing, there are two I would suggest, one is Piannacle Studio HD and if you are okay with Linux on your computer, you can try kdenlive

  • @Jacobianiemann thanks alot mate.

  • @MrStephen205 please do not use kdenlive, it crashes a terrible amount

  • add me on steam JDLW

  • @jdlw09 i tried but this doesnt find you on steam! have you changed it?

  • Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R versus Asus P6X58D-E (same price here).

Which of the two is better and more reliable. I know the most obivous differences are that the Asus mobo does not have eSATA and one less PCI-E v2.0, but aside from this, which would you recommend ?

  • @MG5319 Hi, sorry for the delay in replying. i can only recommend the Gigabyte as thats the only one ive had experience with, ive had no problems with it so far and comes highly recommended. Youde have to research the Asus elsewhere as i cant tell you, sorry.

  • @MrStephen205 Never mind, thanks anywayz. Really appreciate it. I decided to go with the Asus as it is more known to me than gigabyte and atm a bit cheaper. The gigabyte supports e-Sata, dual bios, one extra PCI-e 2.0 and extra SATA controller. For me these aren't necessary as I will be doing only a 2 card crossfire and wont be using any e-Sata. Also the Asus has a Marvell chipset for LAN and the gigabyte mobo the Realtek. IMO Marvell is a better LAN chipset and realtek for audio

  • @MG5319 between the 2 boards u mention get the asus just because the northbridge cooling on the ud3r isnt that good but thats the only reasone as far a board quality generaly gigabyte wins mbut the main reasone i say go with gigabyte is plain and simple bios bios bios

  • A GOOD EDITING PROGRAM IS SONY VEGAS PRO 9.0 ESAY TO USE AND GOOD TO EDIT WITH. ALSO IF YOU WANT 3D TEXT FOR INTROS I RECOMEND CINEMA 4D. CONGRATZ ON THE WORKING PC

  • @luke120rules thanks bud

  • @MrStephen205 no problem

  • Hi!

#1 Is Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) good for gaming?

#2 Is that a fulltower chase?

    Thanks in advance!

  • @mathias921 Its brilliant, vista wont run lots of the older games, but 7 does :) it is yes, brilliant again for air cooling. and addons

  • @MrStephen205 one thing i found a problem with my OS is that its x64 some games require a x32 system but those are really only older games

  • Comment removed

  • @ultragaming1993 is that question aimed @ me? ive never said i have 20 servers, where did you get that from?

  • @ultragaming1993 i saw it on you steam.. seems to be a nice server to play on so you added it on you page -.- normal if you see that they own the server so. sry for the mistake

  • It's Simon from Flashforward. Sorry your show got canceled.

  • @fuguf1sh Oops meant Lloyd

  • Bro you could look it my videos that uploaded...I was playing some good games...I will upload later more videos with 1080p quality...All I want to buy Video Card ATI HD5850 1gb XFX ...Then I could play DX 11

  • get a new case and new monitor :L

  • Hi my Steam account is KeikiNYC011 but I would like to say Nice RIG and mayeb you should also do dedicated physX card like an 9800GT or 8800GTX, If you look at my video I am running an ati 5850 @925/1200 with dedicated Nvidia card 9800GT for PhsyX. But Pinnicle studio is good.

  • @keiki646 Thanks, dont you get problems with the two cards being compatible? how do you do it? sounds like a plan tho :)

  • @MrStephen205 No you need to just download the 197.45 driver from Nvidia and then you need to download the patch switch is call the PhysX Mod 1.03 (google it)

Then look up how to set up the hardware. Youtube it as well.

  • @MrStephen205 It's pretty easy

  • nvdia drivers doesnt alow ati + nvidia physx

  • @shalomyo Yes they do because I have a PhysX Mod Driver 1.03 for Nvidia Driver 197.XX Look at my video

  • Nice build :-D U have a great gpu as well 2 gigs vaporX is awesome!

  • Sony vegas, Pinnicle Studio,

  • Doing the same build from the magazine. Any changes you would recommend. Im getting a different case and graphics card

  • @TheMeekster72 Good choice its worked out really well for me. the only thing i changed is the power supply (i got 850w) as i might get another gpu later, i cant tell you what its like to overclock yet as i havent done it. apparently its a good system for it though, just make sure to operating system with 64bit other wise the memory is wasted. cant think of any thing else, please just ask if you think of anything.

  • @MrStephen205 I'm gonna choose the same power supply as its good value and the HD 5870 cause i can later go crossfire if i want to but thanks for the help and enjoy your pc

  • oh wow. You bought the 2gb version.. wasn't expecting that since you were thinking of getting the 470 before.. Is there much of a difference in how much they cost where you live? Anyway, GREAT system.. glad everything worked out..

  • @pussylicker24 yeah i know!! i nearly got the 5970 but thought better of it, i probably wont get a big enough screen and you need one thats at least 26" - 30" apparently as the one im looking at is 23" i though the 5970 was a bit over board (excuse the pun) it was around £400 !! it runs Crysis at full everything at 1440 x 900, we'll see how it does with 1200 or whatever my new monitor will be when i get it, (not for a while tho as the wallets taken a beating!) south east England, you

  • @MrStephen205 No way, only £400?? lol.. still a lot of money, but in comparison to what it cost in America I would rather pay that then $700-$750! It sucks that everything is so expensive here. The card that you got is $529 here in the states! Great card by the way. lol. & as far as the monitor size, it doesn't have to be that big it's just if you get a 30" monitor that displays an incredible 2560 x 1600 resolution it pushes the card further & the quality in picture is astounding.. 23" is fine.

  • What games do u play on steam?

  • @derek56ace Hi, currently Crysis, mw2, just cause 2, if youve got any suggestions then happy to hear them mate.
