Gannondorf is definately not a good choice to fight tabuu with since he has a god awful jump and fast fall speed. Not to mention slow. If tabuu had more hp, GD would be out like a light in no time.

yeah I can short hop, but even with that, Ganondorf is still rated the worst player in the game. Look it up too, the worst 3 players (something like #34-36) are the two links, and ganondorf. It may be hard to believe but it's true. Other ones I know: Ike = #28, Marth = #7, Meta Knight = #1, I think Captain Falcon is #2. But ganondorf is basically a slow and heavy captain falcon.

It's not the damage of the characters, it's how agile they are. Such as Mario, Fox, Falco, etc. They're agile characters which means they're good for dodging attacks.

The Golden Wings are very easy to avoid, along with the Golden Bracket. In fact, the only attacks that really get me is the whip (when I'm in the middle of the stage) and the dragon beam (but only when I'm ivysaur).

Brawl is much slower paced, which could be easier or harder depending on your style of play. There is also far less hitstun in Brawl. Which means it is MUCH harder to combo, and only short combos are possible.

heres a good few ways to learn how to down dodge:

1. hav a friend be kirby, and use his final smash. then down dodge it...it is possible and really easy.

2.down dodge when ur firends dash grab you

3.replace ur rolls with down dodges for a game..and see what happens

4. use ur down dodge a lot

and btw...roll dodge is not effective vs tabuu's butterfly thinger move

How to beat Tabuu on any difficultly:

1.Memorize ALL his moves

2.Learn how to down-dodge

3.Keep your cool during the few minutes in battle.
