  • This told in Kisii not Kiswahili. Mnatia lugha tukufu ya Kiswahili aibu kubwa

  • The story is beautiful but the Swahili is choppy and hard to understand. The sentence pauses do not follow natural Swahili speaking patterns. Also the word Kuhangika is mispelled. It should be Kuangaika. A narrator who speaks Swahili sanifu would be better suited for this purpose. It is the Swahili used in TV and Radio broadcasts and taught in school and widely understood by all speakers. It is the difference between proper english and pigdin or patois.

  • @emeraldflamo84 We at BookBox took your comment "Jameni,,tafadhali zingatieni jinsi silabu zinatamkwa na mnenaji...tangu lini "MUDA" ni "MNDA"!!!!!!!!!!! stop spoiling the language..nice story though" seriously. We are happy to confirm that the translation and narration are of high quality.

  • There are, however, variations in the Swahili used in different countries and the one you hear is Kenyan and may not be what you are used to. We'd welcome more specific comments on the language, especially if there is something that you feel is not correct.
