Where you been? Of course he's going to be in the movie. If he wasn't the movie would be crap and noone would go see it cause us fans aren't going to waste money on some joke whussy actor who looks nothing like the Captain America. Big Ben is spot on as the Captain and I read he's new yah but he's won acting awards.

Nope, no world record. A heavy tire, yes but the video doesn't even make sense. He grips it in the middle (which you do NOT do on a tire flip), then magically, he's underneath it. A fine promo shot featuring a guy who is probably very strong, but it's neither a world record nor is it even showing a valid flip.
Regardless, it's about freakin' time to get a guy who is solidly built in the role of an action film again. Enough with padded suits and all that crap.

1) I've done a heavier tire, and I'm not even all that good.
2) Ironman = running, swimming and biking. Strongman = picking up heavy stuff. Learn the difference.
Fat Veg is exactly right - there is no way he would've been able to make the transition from his full extension (at which point the bottom of the tire was maybe 6" off the ground) to getting under the tire. Anyone who's actually flipped a heavy tire (key word: heavy) can confirm this.

Quite right. Heck, I've trained with some 210 lb. competitors who flipped an officially-weighed 1050 lb. tire for sets of 5. This tire in the video is big and awkward, but nowhere near a record. Crap, I think that there is a video of Dan Harrison and Travis Ortmayer somewhere online flipping a 1200 lb. tire for a few reps. No idea where people get that this video constitutes a world record when it isn't even a normal tire flip regardless....

No doubt. John Beatty has had a contest for HW pros with a tire flip medley. One of them weighed 1300, and I think at least Ostlund did it.
