The show is filmed in Toronto and this can be clearly seen in almost every episode. There are many shots of the CN Tower, The Gardnier Express Way, and the subway names are very accurate.

The Show is great! Here in Germany i had seen the first three episodes and WOW, Like Liger sayed it is great. I look forward to the next episode 2 minutes after the last had ended. And the songs (theme and also the Music in the show) is really good. The Show is interesting (not the first, after 30 minutes it was boring) and has got a lot of brain.

I am a very new fan (saw 2 episodes online) and I am a huge fan. Great stuff. What a great change of pace from the typical US programming about police work. I worked in Boston and most police are really rammy and selfish. Compassion is what Grissom shows on CSI, but is lacking on many shows. Great stuff Flashpoint. I wish you continued success.

Lol it's called Flashpoint for a reason...it's not about cool SWAT operations. It's about flashpoint. Times where the criminal is mentally impaired due to emotional conflict. If you watch the interview with the actors they explain it. The show was also designed to show the emotional toll and conflict that officers commonly experience ad a result of their job.

This is a great show but imo it should have a bit more action, I mean lt'd be cool if it was like a SWAT team and they needed to solve some bank robbery where multiple supects have tried to reach for the vault and stuff like that instead of always being just one guy who's evil and managing to talk-it-through always.

That's why I mostly skip the end as they always talk to the suspect for like 5 mints and then he surrenders.

Notice that some sounds only play once in this theme, little subtle taps and clicks, and the last pair of notes is simply the harmonics on an acoustic guitar, very analog like the rifle safety it's queued to... Great composition!!!
