what is the storyline for this game? also can somebody explain why a dolphin is piloting a combat aircraft? weird but in a way cute.

oh and one more thing, what is so bad about the scoring system?

Simple: the enemy destroyed their airships. Taking out the communication devices as well.

The pilots take old World War II planes as a last resort to counter attack.

thanks for the email, i am not good at shooters, what is worse is that i beat the game, but instead i end up being sent back to the first level, do i have to not get hit or something? p.s. hien is my favorite character.

I used to freaking love this game in the arcade, but I never knew about the scoring system. Never tried playing with that guy.

That IS the worst scoring system ever.

Not as bad as Giga Wing's (die partway through stage instead of beginning or end and you're royally screwed) or FC Gradius II's (massive points--as many as 650k--for destroying the spider boss).
