  • @4624tone i take interferon and ribavirin.i have had no side effects period.it depends on the person i guess cause i started my treatment and started feeling better very soon after.no night sweat,or flulike symptoms.some people say u get bad pains etc.like i said i cant speak on that, all i can say is it works for me i am better now almost finished and have had nothing to complain about of course im only 29 years old.but it works for me without no problems

  • @12jahwarrior thanks man, my doctor app. is the 20th.. hope i dont need it yet but thank you you for addvise, peace man.

  • @4624tone I wish you the best of luck!

  • @12jahwarrior At age 57, I have several health problems that contribute to complications. I'm glad you decided to get treated while you're young.

  • @4624tone For very few people, it could be worse like suicide and/or homicidal idealization, which was my case, but I'm working thru it now. It would help drastically when one quits alcohol and tobacco. I wish you well.

  • i cant believe you have to pay for medical treatments there in the usa. im in the uk and its free and thats how it should be for every body.

  • yes im 26 yr old canadian male 10 moths into pegatron treatment and its been a complete success so far aparently im o top candidate because of my age how long ive been infected and my motivation and my treatment hasnt cost me a single penny ...iim so gratful tto live in a country that offers universal health care ive had ankle surgery ..ruptured my slpeen spent a week in hospital recovering and got kidney stone surgerywhen i was 3 months into treatment never costing a thing...

  • @riddlore1 Thanks for watching my video. I succesffully completed the Pegatron treatment 22 months ago. I'm physically much stronger, but my mind is still mushy and my mental gates are off their hinges. My mother was an avid supporter and promoter of Universal health care. I'm so glad that the people of Canada take care of themselves. Here, in the USA, the people are retarded and brainwashed to think they are deserving of nothing but the same old...

  • Hey they just came out saying this treatment will work for ashma! I was wondering side effects. and any other info you might have ? Get well soon

  • @bashue69 I had asthma before my treatment began and I still have asthma after the treatment. I'm not sure how it could work for asthma but I haven't seen anything lately on it. Side effects for me were harsh and I'm still dealing with some issues. For my asthma and COPD conditions, I take three different prescribed inhalers including Spiriva, FloVent and Albuterol. I respond remarkably well with these medicines: they help increase my lung capacity by 60 percent but that's because I also swim.

  • Dam it's like he's gettin ready to fix some dope.

  • @popeyerayaz It was NO vacation. Thanks for watching.

  • @desertjournalonline I'm on my second week and did feel some flu-like symptoms that had me in bed all weekend. The first week I was actually feeling very good. I am going to beat this thing!

  • @popeyerayaz You have the right attitude and I believe you will beat it. Keep up the positive, downplay the negative, make sure you tell your doctor about everything that goes on with you, especially if you become depressed. I had to start treating my depression before treatment commenced, but some people have told me they become depressed after they start treatment. So make sure the doctor knows about it so they can treat it. Keep in touch, you'd be amazed over the support here on YT.

  • @popeyerayaz hope your tretment go,s ok . keep it up.

  • @popeyerayaz you are an arsehole...guy is not well and you come out with a comment like that?...yo desert? i kinda know what your going through...ive not started treatment yet so good luck to you with yours!

  • @4YaPloNo1 Thanks. I did have luck and my treatment ended successfully two years ago.

  • Hi...I start treatment soon. I've been too anemic to start in the past, but now my iron level is better and FRIDAY is the day for me. Thanks for your video series, it's eased my paranoia!

  • I wish you the best of luck with your treatment. It really is important to be prepared and ready for it. The medicine itself causes anemia and fatigue so I guess it was important for your iron levels to be up before you start. I thank you for your feedback as that was my intention when I made my series - to help others get through their fear and anxiety - heck, it took me 12 or so years for me to get to this point (I have two weeks and two days left before my 48-week treatment ends).

  • if there is somebody, im starting this day's

wish me good luck! Se you:)

  • Best of luck! The main thing is that you're prepared for the treatment and maintain a positive attitude. I think it helped me at the beginning to say a prayer and claim victory.

  • Thanks,I will do my prayer and claim victory as wright.. tnx again, Matt.

  • i start in about one week. im freakin out. how do i stay positive? what if i cant make it to 48?

  • Just remember you have at least one chance at life and you'll make the best of it. There have been many challenges for me along the way, and if I can make it, you can make it.

  • tylenol is poison for the liver. My doctor says never take tylenol ever during treatment

  • I'd like to hear more. Most medicines are poison. My doctor said to alternate between Tylenol (acetominophen) and Ibuprofen. I try not to take them, but lately I've had to take more than my fair share (which probably should be half of the daily warning limits).

  • I've been watching your video in prep for starting my own pegasys treatment...in two weeks...you've help alot!! Thanks..I'm not waiting...

  • Thanks, if you need any support, I will be here for you. Best of luck!

  • I'm in my fourth month and I seem to be doing okay, except anemia, fatigue, joint pain and eye and brain strain. I still swim but not as much. The 12-week lab test says I no longer have a detectable virus load. I hope this could mean that I can cut my treatment way short of the 1 year plan.

  • unfortunately there is no way of cutting down on your treatment of 48 weeks...your viral load will go back up maybe more then before. I am in my 4th month as well and I feel great, surprisingly better then before the treatment. It's all in you head, phycological. Dont think that you have side effects and it helps, trust me. Take Tylenol, go to sleep...stay positive!

  • Lab tests have been showing no detectable viral load since the fourth week, and my doctor said it looks like I'll be a success. Others have tried and failed - I should be so lucky. Thanks!

  • Hope your treatment is working well for you. How have you been feeling?

  • Sorry for the delayed response. The medicine is working well, however there are ups and downs, but mostly because of circumstances outside the medicinal realm. Thanks for watching!

  • My father just started treatment and the first day was so hard!!!!! He can't sleep and he is in a lot of pain. I hope your treatment goes well.

  • I recall my first day was difficult too and mostly I had a bad headache and flu like symptoms. Nowadays I'm mostly fatigued and have a bit of eye strain. Your dad may want to adjust his diet to low fat, to include healthy foods and juices, if he hasn't already, plus drink plenty of fluids every day. I wish him well and include him in my prayers.

  • We live in the South and "low fat" is hard to do. He is feeling a lot better this week. he does have to continue working as a contruction worker!!! Which is so hard!! He can't get disability so he has to work. We are trying to make him eat well, but it is hard. Thank you for your prayers!!! Everyone pray for my father.

  • Try liquid vitamins and high energy foods. I was told not to use vitamins but the liquid vitamins are okay and seem to help. Brain food. Also, drink plenty of fluids. Green Tea. I still encourage low fat and go for lots of fruits, vegetables, all of your food groups, whole grains, etc.

  • first injection is the worst, I thought I will not make it through the night...but now I am 14 weeks from then and feel better then before the treatment. Its important to stay positive and not to think a lot what hurts. its either you kill the bitch or it will.(I mean the virus:)

  • I think tonight begins my 21st week of injections. You're not too far behind. I know I'm in it for the long haul. Thanks for the great advice about staying positive. It's so difficult though when other people make your life a living hell - I really think I need devine intervention to provide me relief.

  • Hep C sucks. Good luck to you. Hope the treatment goes well.

  • I cannot imagine the hard thing that it should be to have that treatment. I hope everything goes him well!

    Gaby.

  • Thanks, Gaby, there are ups and downs but mostly fatigue.

    - Bill

  • I have a friend who is doing well with the interferon, things are derfinately looking good for him..You have my regards! :)

  • Thanks, the worse so far is fatigue but a little rest helps some.

  • Can't imagine to have to do that all the time. At least it keeps you going good. :)

Wow, that is a lot of money..

    Wendy

  • Only do it once a week, plus take six pills daily. There is a 50/50 chance of killing Hep C virus, to prevent further liver damage. Also, I do this video solely to relieve others facing treatment from anxiety of self injection. I by no means am a needle freak and this is the only one I'll do like this. Thanks for watching.

  • Of course,I speak for desertjournalonline from my other channel. Oops!

  • Thank goodness I pay only $6 a month for this medicine! My insurance pays the rest, thanks to Governor Bill Richardson's and New Mexico's state coverage plan. Otherwise, I couldn't possibly do it.

  • gees, that's really expensive. but keeping you alive is priceless! =)
