@killerskillet he does nothing wrong and hes the kind of guy that fires up his team even when he isnt playing. when he is playing, he fights anyone in the league, and plays his wing position well. he doesnt score goals and he isnt a skilled player but someone like him i love having on the ice. it just makes me feel safe that nobody will get fucked with when rileys on the ice. like when orr is bullying richards. carcillo is a pussy and wont fight him and asham gets rocked. thats where cote goes

@girltant uhh... I mean... we didn't use him at all this season, so that should tell you something. He's just so slow on his skates, and if you look at the fights he fought last season- HE LOST ALL OF THEM. Maybe not all, to be fair, but the VAST majority were decidedly against him. He's a lousy defender, he can't pass or shoot, etc. etc. I'm not saying he's entirely worthless, but we don't need him in Philadelphia. Downey landed on his feet in Tampa Bay, they love him there.

Why is it that through all of the injuries we sustained this season, Cote never came up to play with the Flyers once? Maybe because the coaching staff decided there were other players who showed more discipline and work ethic than Riley has. He's a guy out there just to protect guys, and now that we have Carcillo, a tough guy that actually has some skill, we don't need Cote.
