@rnodragon she is born in belgium :) plus they dont try to be western turkey is the most modern muslim country in the world they are officialy a part of europe :) and euhm theire more modern then the turks in europe , and im a turk living in turkey so trust me theire doin well ;)
@rnodragon im half turkish and i live in england and just to let you know TURKEY HAS THE LARGEST MUSIC INDUSTRY IN THE WORLD there is gonna be people like hadise! but theres also many other singers who do completely different music which is more to do with turkish culture
@rnodragon i understand what you're saying, and while I am not Turkish, i admire the turkish culture quite a bit. And I disagree with what you have said because in today's world it is not possible to be successful without following western culture. Definitely not possible at a national level, but it is surely possible at a personal level.
@ibtehajshahid completely agree with u! they still have soo much of their culture in their music despite them following the western world, they havent lost their charm actually in a way they dont really follow western but are inspired by the good aspects of it and then blend it with their traditional stuff which i loveee im like obssed with anything turskish lol i have to hear turkish music everyday
