Can anyone show me a single verse from the quran that shows that allah is a god of love? I know of about 2 or 3 peaceful versus in the quran that have been abrogated several times and are no longer valid.

You translated the KJV of John 3:16 which goes back to the LEAST reliable manuscripts of the Bible. NRSV goes back to the best & earliest Bible manuscripts, & the term "begotten" doesn't exist.
Dr. Reymound Brown in his book: "The Anchor Bible," & Dr. Paul Duff who is chairman of the department of religion in George Washington university. Both of these scholars said:
"The word "monogenes" which is "begotten" in Jhn3:16 is an INJECTION to the Bible by Jerome (4th century)."
The original text which is the Greek manuscripts is where they translated this word monogenace (begotten) KJV. I'm a KJV bible reader and I also study Greek.
You've studied a Greek manuscript which goes back to the LEAST reliable manuscript. The RSV & NRSV Bible Preface says the KJV has serious defects, and the Greek word in John 3:16 is one of them. NRSV goes back to the EARLIEST Greek text we have, which is DIFFERENT to the KJV Greek text. Instead of referring to the most reliable manuscripts, you want to jump to the least reliable one (which KJV is based on), which includes this fabrication made 100's years after Jesus, to hold onto a belief.

Go and read the NRSV and RSV, and the earliest Greek manuscripts at seminary if you want the Greek of this. The people who are minting money of the KJV and NKJV CLEARLY don't care about fabrications in the KJV such as "begotten," because for them, it is business. They're not going to stop printing, because they're least bothered about this. Also, the 24,000+ manuscripts are NOT 100% identical, and your scholars have claimed this, which means none of them are the originals.

Majority of Christians could care less about authenticity, which is why they hang onto fabrications. Only those Christians who are truthful with themselves which will reject the serious defects in your Bible, and stop believing in them. Even if you spread the earliest manuscripts of the Bible,it will not be enough to disprove Bible inauthenticity since there are major changes made in Gospels for theological reasons, which have lead to discrepancies within the accounts.

If that was the case, the NRSV, RSV, NIV, ESV, ISV, WEB, etc would have had "begotten" in the text. That is not the case at all, because the word begotten does NOT exist in the most reliable manuscripts. Scholars
English Bibles are based on different manuscripts, all of which differ from 1 another. Scholars (i.e. Metzger, Ehrman) have said that time and again. It is a big problem, because if you were at the time of Jerome before "begotten" was added in, there would be no manuscript telling you that he is a begotten son.

Was recently in a Muslim country and I have to say that it's is a pity that too many Muslims don't take to heart the quoted Qur'an passages in this video. If they did then there wouldn't be a need to have fortified walls around Christian Church's in Muslim countries, to help protect against bomb blasts. You translated the KJV of John 3:16 which goes back to the LEAST reliable manuscripts of the Bible. NRSV goes back to the best & earliest Bible manuscripts, & the term "begotten" doesn't exist.

You've studied a Greek manuscript which goes back to the LEAST reliable manuscript. The RSV & NRSV Bible Preface says the KJV has serious defects, and the Greek word in John 3:16 is one of them. NRSV goes back to the EARLIEST Greek text we have, which is DIFFERENT to the KJV Greek text. Instead of referring to the most reliable manuscripts, you want to jump to the least reliable one (which KJV is based on), which includes this fabrication made 100's years after Jesus, to hold onto a belief.

The people who are minting money of the KJV and NKJV CLEARLY don't care about fabrications in the KJV such as "begotten," because for them, it is business. Also, the 24,000+ manuscripts are NOT 100% identical, and your scholars have claimed this, which means none of them are the originals.

Majority of Christians could care less about authenticity, which is why they hang onto fabrications. Only those Christians who are truthful with themselves which will reject the serious defects in your Bible, and stop believing in them. Even if you spread the earliest manuscripts of the Bible,it will not be enough to disprove Bible inauthenticity since there are major changes made in Gospels for theological reasons, which have lead to discrepancies within the accounts.

English Bibles are based on different manuscripts, all of which differ from 1 another. Scholars (i.e. Metzger, Ehrman) have said that time and again. It is a big problem, because if you were at the time of Jerome before "begotten" was added in, there would be no manuscript telling you that he is a begotten son.
The fact your relying on variant manuscripts which go further away from Jesus shows that your not interested in the manuscripts which are the closest to Jesus

There are 24000+ Greek manuscripts according to scholars and the KJV goes back to LEAST RELIABLE ONES. This is the sole reason why Bibles like: NRSV, RSV, NIV, etc DO NOT have begotten there. In Jewish language, being called son of God was metaphorical used for many people & wasn't taken literal. Today, Christians are taking it literal for Jesus by reading a Jewish book through Greek glasses. You should read comments more carefully next time. Salam.

@karamantine God loves all sinners that is why he sent Jesus. Jesus said in His ministry REPENT for the Kingdom is at hand. Did any of this sinners REPENT. NO not most of them. HE LOVES Hitler , Stalin, Mao or Sadam but He does not like their deeds. 2PETER 3:9 It is a CHOICE. God does not force you. You have to open the door of your heart for HIM. REV 3:20.

The sad reality, brother, is that human nature is sinful. No man can say 'I repent' and be forever changed. His nature of sin remains. Without a divine act by God Himself, you cannot change the anger you feel in your heart.

karaman, when the Bible says God loves the WHOL World, this is an inclusive message, my friend. Sinners are IN the World. If God said 'I love the Oceans and All in the Oceans', we would infer and conclude God loved FISH too.
I think the confusion between us, my friend, is that YES, in certain cases, the Bible says God HATED a particular group or behavior and those who did that behavior. It is a mistake, however, to attmpt to form an absolute rule 'God Hates Sinners', because we R ALL sinners.

The Bible teaches us GOD IS 'AGAPE', which is 1 of several words translated into the English word 'Love'. Agape is unconditional Love, Phileo is Brotherly Love, Eros is Erotic or Sexual Love, and Storge is family Love.

karaman, 'as I posted, there are 4 meanings imled by the word 'Love' in the Bible. Agape, Eros, Phileo and Storge.
Agape is an unconditional Love. It is an expression of generosity and compassion which will not be reciprocated. I took a fruit basket to a Muslim neighbor. I did so to show friendship and kindness and unconditional love. They acted 'guilty' and later felt compelled to give me a gift so we were 'even'.
I give to show Love, my friend. I do not give to 'get' something back.
