I'm brazilian and so proud of Fabiana, but I hope Yelena recoveries herself to the Olympics. If Fabiana lose it for her I'll be happy anyway.

I felt so sorry for Yelena that she once again failed to medal. She could've played it a little safer and jumped a lower height and settled for a bronze, but I guess that shows the type of competitor that she is. That said however, I just can't seem to understand this all or nothing approach she has towards these major competitions. Next year will be 4 years since her last major triumph and that's a very long time. I know that she'll be going all out to end her Olympic career on a golden high.

Yelena Isinbayeva is great, no matter how many competisions she fail. that's the beauty of sport. one up, one down...but still a legend! Congratulations for the winner.
