Perhaps some people overeat, and perhaps some people have a medical condition that helped them get that way, perhaps some had babies and have trouble losing, perhaps some people don't care and like to eat, perhaps some people hate it but feel powerless to change it, perhaps some have had some tragic even that triggered the self-destructive behavior... the answer is still the same...they are a human being God made. Loosers make fun of others.

or better said, people that make fun of others, including overweight people are taking on the role of being a loser with God. God doesn't endorse any kind of making fun of others. God says to be ye kind one to another. We are to show love and not fly off the handle. It's the Bible way. What would Jesus do--it is so important to think this much of the time and not react in the flesh...that can ruin a testimony in a flash.

@danielam08 LOL....oh my gosh, I have friends who are the most Godly (not just "christian") people I know and they are also "rude". They just speak there mind, sure they probably cross the line or appear inconsiderate but they are also quick to apologize. Not all christians have the same personality. I can be rude, i don't mean to be, but hey I have bad days, i'm having one today as a matter of fact, Lord help me.

@JCMySoulsBoast actually no. every time she comes in she acts like she owns our store and always talks down to me. i greet her and i barely get a "hello" out of her and if i dont take one of her coupons because they are expired or not valid she throws a fit until i have to call a manager. there are several people from the local church who come in and are some of the nicest people i have ever met....but her. not so much. and i didnt even know she was christian until much later

@MsSweetPuppy no. im always very polite to my customers. i always said hello to her and she barely looked at me. trust me, i am not jealous, i think what she is doing is great that she motivates people to change their lives and the last thing i would want to do is ruin her testimony considering i am christian myself, but she is not friendly to any of the cashiers at my job. I am not trash talking i am just being honest...

I understand your point. Perhaps she really is this way, but we have to cover it with love. Perhaps the Lord still has to bring her to the point of really acting and being like Jesus and carrying that Jesus smile?? One thing I've learned is that it's not how others treat us, it's how we respond and treat others. We are to pray for one another. Praying for her to be all Jesus wants and needs her to be to make a real testimony for others is what we need to do.

Everyone is touting that she has not had any surgery, and in her book, she herself admits to having a "breast lift and augmentation." No one is talking about this. So when people think they can look like her just by dieting and exercising, that's not really true.

It's on p. 204 of Never Say Diet.

This is what she herself writes on p. 204 of Never Say Diet:

"I fixed everything I could through clean eating and exercise, then got help from experts for what I couldn't do on my own..."

@momsinneedofmercy I think what she means when she says "without surgery" is surgery that would help lose weight quicker, like a bypass, or a liposuction. A breast lift, augmentation or reduction won't make you lose weight. I know many people who after having lost a lot of weight complain they've lost their breasts too and have surgery. Besides, everyone's body is different and we all put on weight or lose it differently so end up with different shapes. We can never aspire to have the same body.

Post after post, I'm trying to figure out why everyone hates this lady so much? She's beautiful & very nice, but all the people here are trying to talk down on her. It's easy on YouTube to put people down... when actually God made each & every person, and they are special to God & He wants them to turn to Him, live for Him & He wants people to be Kind to one another, not talk trash, no matter, even our enemies are to be prayed for. Uh... oftentimes interviewers are so annoying because they are so pushy and time driven. I know it is the nature of their occupation, but it is frustrating listening to a story knowing that those interviewing are sitting on edge, anxiously looking around for the chance to pounce the next question, without really listening. Chantel did a great job in this interview and is very well spoken. Now, where is the interview with her and a close friend where the atmosphere is more relaxing? :-)

They slip up and have real people on there sometimes. But the praying and story are her whole... selling point.

@MsSweetPuppy actually no, you might not watch fox. that particular guy is super jewish and he consistently is high strung. again watch his body language, he's going over his notes and seems to be thinking about the next segment. In many segments the woman anchor apologizes for his behavior with guests. here he is clearly disinterested in this woman.

They just wanted her on the show because she mentions Oprah by name. Maybe the queen of television will rub off on them.

oh, I see. You should have seen that one guy from the 700 club interview her. He was so rude about her weight and said something like, "So how'd you get so fat like that in the first place...." I mean it was terrible... Anyway, I have to commend her to lose all that weight... wow, what a success. I think people are jealous of her because she is very pretty. It's sad. She is right to seek God for her help and that's why she succeeded. Thanks...
