So cute! But hedgehogs are not rodents they are in an order all their own. Its called Erinaceidae due to the fact that they have canine teeth unlike rodents. Still I love them and want one so badly!

They are not guinnie pigs with needles. Hedgehogs are unique in every way and are the most wonderful pets. You must be dedicated to keeping them healthy and happy if you are going to get one though. Just about everything they do is different from any other animal. They are the best!

OK, I'm confused. Writing from USA. I always thought that "hedgehog" and "porcupine" were the same animal. No,they aren't the same. pork-e-pines arent pets, hedgehogs make great pets. their spikes, unlike pork-e-pines, are actually pretty soft to the touch, they are very hamster-like pets and they do bond with owners. they are about the size of a guinne pig

hey hedgehogs are illegal to import to australia,.But,. european hedgehogs and australian hedge hogs live in the wild in australia so if you are lucky you actually might get one in your back yard,. stil amazing creatures even if they live outside have 3 cuties , visiting every night, to get treats,.and they dont get a fit,. when picked up anymore just curios to see what happens
