@purplefirefly13 Inbetweened on a light board - "key frames" are drawn, which are different positions like arms raised and arms down. The frames that make the animation go from one key frame to the next one are "inbetweens". A light board is a table with a light that shines up from the bottom to help see previous drawn frames to compare distances when animating.

@purplefirefly13 drawn with pencils and inbetweened on a light board - original pencils were scanned and colored in photoshop. edited with after effects or premiere based on the "finder" part of the cartoon. not too complicated, but animation takes a LOT... A LOOOT of work.
