@thelycandraven They are making a 2013 Viper. It will have traction control that you can just turn off like every other car. Dodge is also tweaking the engine so it will well produce well over 600HP as well as a slight re-style. I got this info from Automobile Magazine-June 2011 Edition. There will be more vipers!

@th3coolon3 Depends on the type of car. In my experience Viper guys are hardcore. The ones that tend to be that buy and gawk are older Vette drivers and Ferrari owners. Porsche drivers seem evenly split. Lambo guys are pretty hardcore. Same for us Lotus guys. (60K miles in less than 3 years!) I see the sam with the Maserati guys. I have a pal with a Gallardo and he drives the snot out of the car and drives it everyday. And so do his friends. And when my time to own a Lambo I will do the same!

Dude im young and i drive a stick shift mustang and trust me ive done the same thing many times. you speed up really fast and you try to shift faster then you should and you accidently let out on the clutch a little to fast and not enough gas and it kinda makes a slipping sound and kinda shakes a bit and the engine bogs a little. its no big deal, we just found it funny.
I realise where your coming from but i'm 25, have owned several standard vehicles and have a class 1 license a long with bikes and sleds and have driven 2 srt 10's. These cars make enough torque to start from a stand still in third gear without bogging down. The noise his car is making my 2wd supercharged truck makes at the moment if i get a bit of tireslip the tires catch and release and makes the identical noise. It's caught between tirespin and traction. Just my opinion.

You haters are morons. This Viper owner is not lucky, he worked hard for it. I was broke, started a business, worked my tail off and bought an exotic car...cash. I was blessed for my hard work. The business folded, but it is all good...on to a new business and on to new toys. Don't hate, go work and get your own.

@semajthethird Hey, That's a big 1up on that. I was 30 living in a apartment with 12 nosey niebors and working 60+hrs by the hour bringing home 6 to 700/wk with a baby on the way. Started a roofing business and busted my ass out in the pouring rain, hot ass sun, shoveling snow and chipping ice off of roofs to !@#$%^shingle them. 10yrs later my toys are endless......... To be brief: U don't pay as much in taxes & U get paid more of what u r worth. When U'R an employee they buy u @ wholesale & sell you @ retail. When u work 4 yourself or own a business, you charge retail and keep the profits! I was able 2 deduct part of my Lotus Esprit b/c I used it as promotion for my biz. The economy hurt my biz, but I started a new 1. SMART=BIZ!

@XGViper2gamer Performance of any kind can get you in trouble. But as I learned from Spider-Man as a kid, with great POWER comes great Responsibility! I modded my Esprit to 100+ Horsepower over stock, but I also got a Pre-Paid Legal plan to keep the tickets at a distance. Pulled over 3 times in 3 years, no points on my record! And with my performance PC, I don't do anything illegal or hacking...so no worries for me there.

@bpeterdude316 Yep, it is harder said then done. And I am glad, because it seperates the ones who DESERVE somehting and those that don't. Since most people are lazy nowadays, it makes it easer for us hard working, but SMART business owners to be successful, most people are not willing to pay the price. Being economically successful is easier than being middle class or poor as there is less competition up here.

@gypsykingg I must disagree. It does not suck to have to work for stuff. It is a great feeling of accomplishment to work hard and enjoy the fruits of your labors and the blessing you have received. I personally think it would suck for me to get what I wanted without working for it. I don't think I would appreciate my homes, my toys, my kids (my wife had two very scary and hard pregnancies), etc. if i didn't bust my chops to get them.

I also hate when I see old guys in cars and they drive like they're scared to even be on the road. Thats why I like Jay Leno because that guy actually enjoys his cars and knows how to drive them.

@th3coolon3 Depends on the type of car. In my experience Viper guys are hardcore. The ones that tend to be that buy and gawk are older Vette drivers and Ferrari owners. Porsche drivers seem evenly split. Lambo guys are pretty hardcore. Same for us Lotus guys. (60K miles in less than 3 years!) I see the sam with the Maserati guys. I have a pal with a Gallardo and he drives the snot out of the car and drives it everyday. And so do his friends. And when my time to own a Lambo I will do the same!

@crazyjd64 its like back in the old days. All you need is whats under the hood. I like it better that way and so do a lot of other ppl. Make them tuff and powerful. No need for all the other fancies. By the way these cars are so much fun driving you dont even care what the inside looks like

@njriedl No I wasn't complaining about the cupholder if you read the previous posts someone said something about it not having enough. Cars like this dont need that crap. A lot of other high end cars have all that stuff you listed too and yeah maybe it's not true to what a sports car should be but whether we like it or not technology changes. It's the same deal with paddle shifters taking over from true manual transmissions.

Dude im young and i drive a stick shift mustang and trust me ive done the same thing many times. you speed up really fast and you try to shift faster then you should and you accidently let out on the clutch a little to fast and not enough gas and it kinda makes a slipping sound and kinda shakes a bit and the engine bogs a little. its no big deal, we just found it funny.

I realise where your coming from but i'm 25, have owned several standard vehicles and have a class 1 license a long with bikes and sleds and have driven 2 srt 10's. These cars make enough torque to start from a stand still in third gear without bogging down. The noise his car is making my 2wd supercharged truck makes at the moment if i get a bit of tireslip the tires catch and release and makes the identical noise. It's caught between tirespin and traction. Just my opinion.

Im not talking about his clutch slipping im talking about him letting out on the clutch too fast. There is no way his tires are just not biting his rpms would fly way up because there not getting traction.......... And as long as ive been driving in any car ive never had the tires not bit while i was just speeding up.
