Why would I care about system stability when most open source software is either lacking in functionality, terribly designed, or in the case of drivers filled with bugs, like WiFi drivers.

@malogames It is bloated. One codefragment on top of another. Like ActiveX, which they havent got rid of after 8 years or so. Makes it take up more memory, more HD space, and makes it more vulnerable. There are two or three things I really like about Linux' security, though of course it could have viruses too. It doesnt take forever to update. It updates ALL programs, not just the OS, and it doesnt have ActiveX.

@kevin9794 I bought 2 laptops and turned them on fresh out of the box. I would say the performance is 3x slower than when I do a clean install. It's not necessarily of the unnecessary software but they put stuff in partitions such as the recovery and a place to put your data. That slows it down because it's a spindle HD not SSD. On a clean install it's just 1 small partition for Windows 7 and the rest for Windows and yourself.

I haven't received the blue screen of death during normal usage (yes, i have overclocked too high causing windows not to boot resulting in the BSoD) with a quad-core my computer runs many, many applications glitch free, and i've been running vista with no virus protection for 3 months, no problems.

i played WoW on a Freinds Mac .. the Mac was the best and newest .. and at home i played it on my PC .. my PC is new and not the best (8 gb ram 1.5gb NVidia GeForce gt130) at it doesn't lagg as much as on Mac.

Macs ship with iLife which is 10 times better than what comes with Windows. The battery lasts way longer than on most laptops (7 hours) they are usually lighter, have a faster chip, better screen resolution, as well as a more stable and secure OS with a much better Interface. Might I add, no PC has lasted me over a year. You can get a stripped down PC that doesn't do crap for $699, that comes with a and virus-prone OS, but to get it performing to Macs capabilities it's a lot more.
Macs battery life lasts longer because it doesnt run any high end programs, it does not have a higher screen resolution than microsoft laptops, Microsft OS is stable as long as you have a good Virus protection and dont do anythign stupid on it. THe mac interface is unorganized and all of the place, whereas XP and vista re the opposite. And you can buy a PC retail forthat much and its crap, but custom build it for that price and it far exceeds macs.
What are you talking about? They run very high end programs. The screen resolution in twice as good than any windows laptop, stable only if you have a good virues protection haha, not stable by itself. The interface isn't all over the place. It is very organized and simple. I shall say this one more time. You cannot build a PC by yourself that is better or even equal than a Mac.
Photoshop is not a high end program, alienware laptops have 1200p resolution, stable if your not a douche and download a bunch of porn without a virus protection, the interface is all at the bottom with abunch of random ass icons, windows is organized.

@kevin9794 I bought 2 laptops and turned them on fresh out of the box. I would say the performance is 3x slower than when I do a clean install. It's not necessarily of the unnecessary software but they put stuff in partitions such as the recovery and a place to put your data. That slows it down because it's a spindle HD not SSD. On a clean install it's just 1 small partition for Windows 7 and the rest for Windows and yourself.

Not entirely truthful? Well I can tell you from the beginning that I have never had an error come up in the middle of a powerpoint slideshow/video in my history using Windows.
I haven't received the blue screen of death during normal usage (yes, i have overclocked too high causing windows not to boot resulting in the BSoD) with a quad-core my computer runs many, many applications glitch free, and i've been running vista with no virus protection for 3 months, no problems.

Macs ship with iLife which is 10 times better than what comes with Windows. The battery lasts way longer than on most laptops (7 hours) they are usually lighter, have a faster chip, better screen resolution, as well as a more stable and secure OS with a much better Interface. Might I add, no PC has lasted me over a year. You can get a stripped down PC that doesn't do crap for $699, that comes with a and virus-prone OS, but to get it performing to Macs capabilities it's a lot more.

Macs battery life lasts longer because it doesnt run any high end programs, it does not have a higher screen resolution than microsoft laptops, Microsft OS is stable as long as you have a good Virus protection and dont do anythign stupid on it. THe mac interface is unorganized and all of the place, whereas XP and vista re the opposite. And you can buy a PC retail forthat much and its crap, but custom build it for that price and it far exceeds macs.

The screen resolution in twice as good than any windows laptop, stable only if you have a good virues protection haha, not stable by itself. The interface isn't all over the place. Macs run photoshop too. So if that is a high end program that windows run, it's one that Macs run too. "Random ass icons It's the same thing as your desktop on windows. To me, the OSX Looks cluttered and childlike, almost unorganized, whereas windows is very clean if you keep your files organized. Okay now you're getting pathetic. I have a 2009 HP laptop that i dont use anymore. It has Vista on it. That's the laptop I've used to try out several windows music systems. All a dud. Then I bought a MacBook (13inch white) With OS X Leopard on it. It has alot better recording systems on it. Now, please stop trying to say that I had a PC with windows 97 on it then upgraded to Mac because it is totally wrong.
