I know I'm gonna get a ton of shit for this but this is my first time checking Dave's stuff out and I really think he's a lunatic (in a good way) on guitar but the fact that they are RIDICULOUSLY satanic (for instance I can easily tolerate Slayer) just makes getting into vital and Deicide a little too unnerving.

Like I said. I'm probably gonna get a ton of thumbs down and shit because I believe in something.

Just trying to say Dave is awesome on guitar but I'm not into heavy Satanism.

Slayer does seem tame compared to Vital Remains. Granted, Dave is a talented musician, as he can shred on guitar and blastbeat those drums like nobody's business. It's just a shame he's too deep into that Satanic crap.

But imo Slayer seems perfectly tame in comparison to Vital Remains and ESPECIALLY Deicide.

If Dave was in a death metal band that wasn't so much about hating others and more about doing things your own way or other things, it would be so much easier for me to get into them. But just the extent of not Satanism, but Anti-Christian (there is a difference) in it is too much for me.

There are ways to do Satanic without actually disrespecting someone's beliefs. Respect, use it.

Dave Suzuki is definetly a badass guitarist, but not the best ever. If you are looking for the best guitarist ever, listen to John Petrucci of Dream Theater. The man is an absolute god! And, I've seen Dragonforce live and would have to say that Herman Li is better than Dave Suzuki. When I saw Dragonforce, they didn't fuck up once! I don't know what you're talking about, man. Anyways, Dave Suzuki is a good guitarist, but John Petrucci is the all-time greatest.
