We had a cat, who could open ANY door, as long as it was not locked! She was a genius cat, she made very complex decisions and was smarter than any dog I have ever seen. I miss her often, and wish we had the means to clone her, 20 years ago.

I had a cat who trained my old yellow lab to open and close doors for him. Bedroom, closet, front door, back door, storm doors. Didn't matter what type of handle, if it wasn't locked and the cat wanted in/out, he'd meow in a certain way and the big dumb dog would open the door for him. Luckily, he'd also close it again.
