whenever i played greeks i was indestructible, but whenever i played against them i easily crushed them. The AI in this game are stupid. Even with Max Dificulty. But still, my fave total war game

Eastern infantry against spartans lol.

Give me 1 urban cohorts in testudo guard mode and that will break your pretty phalanx and then icharge in the rest of my cohorts.

also i take my cav to the rest of the streets so you have to hold back hoplites and those hoplites will be shoot in the back by archer auxillria.

Spartans are better than Sacred Band I've done a battle with them and spartans won.

hoplites weakness... forester... but in close comat they are unbeatable (unlles you flank them but still your going have tough time even with two units)

maybe unbeatable if you have the enemy charging and u have alota cretan archers supporting then yes. other than that spartan hoplites are only good if u have to hold off. if u move them they are very slow(as all phalanx units are;if in phalanx form). easy strategy to beat that? get seleucid pikemen to stop near front of hoplites(pikemen have much longer spears than spartans and let the archers do the rest.

smake archers at that for 10mins and they be all gone not unbeatable ;)

nahh spartans are good from the front only. urban cohorts best infintary unit in the game mobility and speed and if u use them right then can beat spartans on a 1on 1

They smashed right through your center line there. But that was the only army with heavy cav. anyway.

yer thats an unfair battle you should try even battles because only one unit of spartans (plus max upgraid) can desimate an army of normal units eg Iibean's hastati etc

no they re not, though they have a higher defense.....in a 1v1 battle, spartens win, but the sacred bands give a pretty good rep for themselves.

if u want alot of views, make a video about a campaign. record each fight you do in one of the campaign. maybe a greek campaign would be cool. also a gaul or other barbarian faction. your choice but it worked for atilla16. his german chronicle rome total war videos got a huge number of views. gl :)

The Greek spearmen is the ones I can never beat. If I do beat them it is with all of my men. And later I will retreat. They are very hard to beat. I only beat them like once.
