This was my fave game on the Sega Megadrive. I bought one a few years ago and still fire it up now and again.

This game is easy. Go to the options and turn the inertia to high and the difficulty to hard. Play as Slovakia (for some reason they were top rated). To score, make a run directly toward the opposing goalpost (with the ball obviously) and when you shoot, use the direction pad to bend the ball into the goal.

You can also score from a throw-in and corner with practice. Great post.
