Yngwie is great, I don't want to bash him... I just believe that Jason Becker is a LOT better when it comes to composing (and playing, but let's just shove it aside)... As far as Yngwie's "car crash" is concerned, I think it just temporarily made it harder for him to play... I don't think that it affected his ability to compose in any way...

I think it's because he's so modest. I'm sure he was proud, but if someone came up to him and said "holy fuck, you're amazing!" he would probably have said "well thanks...but its just practice, im not that good". He always wanted to get better...a real player.
Such a shame to have this type of talent taken away from us. A great player and a great kid. Rare to find those bestowed with such great gifts and a greater sense of humility. Truly special... God bless you buddy...

I think it's because he's so modest. I'm sure he was proud, but if someone came up to him and said "holy fuck, you're amazing!" he would probably have said "well thanks...but its just practice, im not that good". He always wanted to get better...a real player.
