These guys played upstate NY fairly frequently. Anyone remember "Hunger Artist"? I would love to get a copy of their 7"s, my tapes are worn out. :( NYHC FTW!
luckily, on my version of the quicksand "slip" LP the cover "how soon is now" is featured as a bonus track! it's one of my favourite cover versions ever made!
Quicksand's cover of the Smiths "How Soon Is Now?" has been one of my favorite songs for 15 years. I got a hold of the CD single of it when I worked for Valley Records years ago and have guarded that single with my life (as I've never been able to find it anywhere). Thank you so much, because hearing it live is quite a treat!!! Damn I LOVE IT!!!
