If Obama and the Senate would give a fair hearing for single payer health care this kind of action would not be necessary.

If Dr Flowers had millions of dollars to donate to senate and presidential campaigns,this action would not be necessary because she would have instant access to those in power.

So far, the health care reform revolves around just how much the government can help increase insurance company profits.

Single Payer is the only way to reduce costs and cover everyone.

@macdoodled: Obama in 2003 said he supported Single Payer. All we had to do was take back the Congress, the Senate, and the White House. Viola; we have done all three, SO??? Where is Single Payer/Medicare for all? Nowhere to be seen because it only received token attention while hundreds of medical insurance executives received GINORMOUS amounts of attention. In fact, one former medical insurance executive, Liz Fowler from WellPoint, helped to write the final Senate bill.

why wasn't this group included? too small am minority? not something on the table to be discussed? too late? Didn't OBAMA say he supported PUBLIC OPTION federally AND single payer VIA state by state?
