If Obama and the Senate would give a fair hearing for single payer health care this kind of action would not be necessary.
If Dr Flowers had millions of dollars to donate to senate and presidential campaigns, this action would not be necessary because she would have instant access to those in power.
So far, the health care reform revolves around just how much the government can help increase insurance company profits.
Single Payer is the only way to reduce costs and cover everyone.
@macdoodled: Obama in 2003 said he supported Single Payer. All we had to do was take back the Congress, the Senate, and the White House. Viola; we have done all three, SO??? Where is Single Payer/Medicare for all? Nowhere to be seen because it only received token attention while hundreds of medical insurance executives received GINORMOUS amounts of attention. In fact, one former medical insurance executive, Liz Fowler from WellPoint, helped to write the final Senate bill.
why wasn't this group included? too small am minority? not something on the table to be discussed? too late? Didn't OBAMA say he supported PUBLIC OPTION federally AND single payer VIA state by state? ISNT IT A PROBLEM we won't work for both? SINGLE PAYER IS not on the fed table & no one is putting it to the states. BUT people right & left are undermining hopes for a public option. How CAN Obama fight lobbyist owned Congress /Senate WIthout the full POWER of We the People at his back?
I'm glad you're out there, but this isn't going to work. He's not listening, he's not going to listen. We've been doing this for decades, it hasn't worked once. This president is no more pliable than any other, we need much more pressure.
He was bought by the Healthcare companies. Sad. Don't ever trust the Government.

The PO is a major compromise and not a very good one. Single Payer is the only thing worth fighting for.
The PO is a distant second choice. Stand for SP and if we get stuck with the PO then we can go from there.

Obama took the only honest solution off the health coverage reform table. History will be his judge, and he is failing as a leader.
McCain didn't have a clue; Obama knows yet refuses to do what is so desperately needed. Which is worse?

Confused, by the word 'confronts.' There is no 'confronting' going on here by my (or anyone's) definition this is simple heckling.
Not the way to go about getting your ideas across, or for that matter giving them any creditability.
Nope this DAMAGES her cause it does not help it one bit.
Sorry I may actually agree with her but this video makes her seem no better than Joe Wilson. Rude and obnoxious.
"Confronts?" ---Please

BRAVO! What a contrast between the bravery of Dr. Flowers and the utter cowardice of Obama.
