I was in college when this came out, I wore this cassette OUT in my Sony walkman! This was such an underrated album. This was one of my favorite songs off the album - just love Stevie wonder! He is a timeless musician & poet who possesses divine talent!
I think I speak for everyone when I say that Stevie Wonder has this way of making you think he is singing just for you and that makes it very special to those of us who have come to love him for his amazing insight to the human condition. I guage each part of my life by what songs he had out at the time. This album is very special to me and I wore it out on tape and wore it out again when I bought it a second time. Stevie Wonderful !!!!!
Wow. Doesn't this song bring back memoires. I got this album as a Christmas/birthday gift from my mother's ex-boyfriend's mother and I l would play this song alot. Characters was a great album.
Ture indeed. I was actually gonna by the tape, but I wound up getting it as a gift and this is one of my favorites. I may have to look for the CD and put this song on my Ipod
My favorite song off the album, it just speaks RIGHT to me or at least during the time I used to listen to it all night long on repeat. It was amazing to meet a woman who could do this to you, only a real woman can make you feel like the lyrics in this song. It doesn't beg, but this is the feeling when you meet an awesome woman! Shame there are far and few of them in the 20-30 age range here in Philadelphia
Great now this song is stuck in my head...it has such a catchy melody to it that I can't stop humming. <3<3<3 Stevie
