I recommend working there if you get the chance. It's a great experience, you get to relive going there as a Scout, you meet a lot of really awesome people, hike on your days off, plus it pays pretty well for a summer job, and if you need to you can work there year round as well.
I was fortunate enough to get to visit twice, 1978 and 1979. I am glad to see it is still just as awesome as it was when I was there! Gentlemen...cherish this experience...because...I can tell you from my own experience...you WILL remember it forever...and it will change you for the better! Appreciate every experience you have when you are there, no matter the challenges you encounter! Be proud Scouts...TLHFCKOCTBCR...Forever!
This summer, I did trek 35 which is the longest trek. It was 102 miles, but we did some extra hiking, which came around to be 106 miles. And i was only 13, and the youngest memeber of my patrol. And my parents didn't come. Hopefully, I will be coming back with my son, when he is 13.
