Well, for some reason (bad enunciation on my part?) everyone thinks it's "chuck the pews," but as the dude who wrote the song (and is singing it on this video), i can tell you that it's "jerk the pews." had i known that so many people would get confused, i'd have probably just written "take the pews" or something. I heard and saw this at Fellowship in Rogers, Ar. and the night was focused on the silence in where we can find strength from God. Perhaps this will re-ignite a strong sense of true worship. Scripture calls the saints, those who have been seperated to Christ, to worship him in Spirit ( that is what we are in the true essence ) and in truth. Don't falsify your heart and bring all that you are to God in exchange for his Grace, and mercy so that you can worship with more than just a song.
