  • Call me a snob but for some reason I much prefer Masonna. I saw Merbow once and was unimpressed. I really now want to see Masonna. Heck yeah!

  • Малиновый звон?тТ

  • Hello.

    It is crap.

    Good bye.

  • @InterestingPose you shouldent be so quick to insault music that you do no not understand. hate when people are closed minded about music. drone/sound music is not about trying to listen to some repeating melody, its all about the atmosphere the music creates.

  • i bet only hairy virgins geeks and faggits listen to this shit.

  • @whatanabe888 You loss you bet. Heheheh!

  • dude, you should have mixed them together. this would have been really fun. i gotta get some more noise discs and start me some noise mixin.

  • @donotseemecricket : If I only know how, I will! Just don't know how. Heheheehh!

  • the to gods in an epic battle!

  • This is frikkin' AWESOME!!!!!!! I love both of these noisers! 2 big inspirations/influences for me for many, many years!

  • Merzbow and Massona are great bands because they are created Noise and Harshnoise!

  • Die sick fcks

  • @CMEPTb Die bastard with a stupid nickname ^^

  • Two unique artists on one collaboration , we are so very lucky.

  • @buddyboy68 : Its just like clash of the Noise Titans, and the rest are all dwarves!!!!! Burn them!!!!

  • Merzbow is good, but Masonna does nice screams. At the guy who said about the Gerogerigegege, they're actualy quite good. :x

  • i think masonnas a little more extreme then merzbow but only because alot of his music literaly just sounds like static

  • this is amazing i love both of these artists they are both very unique in theyer own plus the sound quaility is great

  • And how exactly is this.. music?

  • @BrutalPodSmoker

Because it makes me want to dance...

  • How do you dance on this music, wanna make a video so i can laugh?

  • If I had a camera I'd make a video for you. This is sum ov de bes musick te dance to cuz it hits at such primal note in my soul.

  • Cant blame you for liking it though..

Although i dont understand how this is music, it aint got a real beat, nor melody, it aint beautiful, it aint evil, its just.. plain fucked up.

I dug out every music genre, and in every genre i could find something that i liked, except for this one.

  • you know what i like about noise? the feeling that no sound can be too abrasive. when you are able to handle THIS, you'll listen to other stuff and be like "have i been deaf all this fucking time?!?!111". then, you'll probably start hearing AWESOME shit you've never heard before in songs you might have heard even a thousand times. it's like a whole new dimension of sound that opens its door to you, and IF you discover it, you would be a fool to choose not to explore it.

  • @schizma111 Wow, i think i can understand it. Its the same way that i like Technical death metal, and others just hear plain noise.

But, how is this music made? i mean, you dont hear any beat or drum patterns. Just static noise usually

  • @BrutalPodSmoker merzbow loops sound samples on his laptop(s), then runs through a huge distortion deck, and voila. the original source can be just about anything (he's made albums from frog croaks, gunshots, birds singing, etc.) but he also plays drums on some of his albums, so it's not always just harsh layers of layers of harsh (check Yurikamome on filestube). his collabs are even better, Rock Dream is probably the best one ever and not too harsh, do check it out.

  • @BrutalPodSmoker i believe the artists usually use an audio mixer,a few guitar pedals, pile abunch of effects onto eachother, and add alot of distortion and feedback.

  • @schizma111 Agreed. It is something I'm figuring out just recently. It gives you a real beauty in the world around you, listen to something loud and painful, but beautiful in its distrurbing, extreme way.

    amazing.

  • @BrutalPodSmoker Give it time.. persist,, the 'noise' will eventually render you transcendent. Tty some of Astro's work - just beautiful; then, then you must bathe in Killer Bug; MSBR; CCCC.. and a hundred others.

    ENJOY.

  • Hm.. but it all sounds so random. Could you explain what you like about this?

  • i cant stop listening to this. you got the best sound quality on youtube.

  • Thank you very much man.... This video is for you and for those who are into extremes out there.

  • yeah yeah yeahs. in leisure times i made similar stuffs like my subtron or little bit (on ending) ad stacex pikus. but NOW this MUSIC mekes me happy. i adore .....................and its good for my f20:) .............and yes ---meat is murder!---

  • both killer artists! nice vid

  • Thanks man....

  • You cant compare Merzbow with the Gerogerigegege

  • Yeah! Of course we can't compare Merzbow to ...... I don't know the spelling of these imbeciles! How can you contrast a genius, God of Noise to a low profile, low IQ worthless beings.

  • Gerogerigegege beats them both. But I prefer Masonna over Merzbow.

  • Cause he made more Harsh Noise than Merzbow.

    I like them both

  • @Samoriah : I think Gerogerigegege are corny and are wimps trying to hard to get tough. But they're not, and are too shallow. Sorry.

  • Are you serious? I have most of their albums and I don't know what you are talking about.

I can understand how people can think they are corny since they do sort of have a gimmick, but their noise is very similar to Masonna in terms of harshness. Plus their releases span tons of genres including noisecore, harsh noise, punk rock, classical, and even crazy releases such as cut up vinyl records shoved in cassette boxes.

The gerogerigegege are hard to judge by one release. You have to hear all.

  • @balloydspiritsoul how are they trying to be tough?

  • Simple. They just played the instruments and stuffs as to what they say" Extreme Level". But they just sounded as imbecile as they look like! Maybe just have an IQ of 10? Look as Merzbow, he maybe look like a loner but HELL to his sound! Its like Armaggedon x Catastrophy x Apocalypse!!!

  • Sorry that Krista person was my stepsisters account I didn't realize it was signed into her name. All that whole bit about Gero was from me.

  • Merzbow and Masonna are each fantastic for different reasons, but overall Hanatarash takes the prize for my favorite noise act. They've got Merzbow's variety and richness of sound and Masonna's raw, ear-splitting frenzy all in one!

  • Yeah, your right!!!

Hanatarash is my favourite Noise Act too!!!

Youtube needs more videos of them!!!

  • Nice video.

Merzbow and Masonna are two completely differnt noise artist.

Whenever Merzbow plays live. He allways seems so calm and down to eart while standing/sitting next to his lap tops.

While Masonna jumps all over the place and nearly kills himself at every show.

Personally, I prefer Masonna. His music moves me more.

  • Yeah, you're right Pal. Thanks!

  • cool pictures and nice tunes >;-)

  • Whom you consider as the best in "Japanoise"? Comments please.....

  • It's hard to say, because each noise artist has their own personality, but I'd say Guilty Connector is definitely up there. If you haven't already check out his Beats, Noise, and Life album, a true noise masterpiece. Merzbow and Masonna are both great too, though, and so are some of the American ones like Nkondi.
