All the IRA acheived by doing this was to redecorate the Manchester arndale for free and harden the stance of the British people, which is why the IRA never acheived it's goal of driving British citzens out of Ulster. Anyway, it's over now and there's peace after half a century of violence for both the British and Irish people. I met Gerry Adams & Sinn Fein/IRA leaders at a ‘reconciliation convention’ a few years ago. He explained all about the struggle for Irish emancipation & exactly why my sister had to die. He was a top bloke, & now I (unlike my family) am no longer filled with hate as I understand the full context of her death.
