Back a few months ago, you had 12 classes. that is/was the default soldier. what you are talking about is the late ranger from the former versions that was merged with the soldier, who inherited from the reanger's default loadout, wich I don't agree with imo

@Benzego999 Play a Ranger (It starts with a light spinfusor and a shotgun by default) until you get the 42K EXP to afford a Spinfusor for your Soldier :D

@Benzego999 if you cant afford the ranger the new update makes the pathfinder the best spinfusor class to use untill you can afford spinfusor, also pathfinder is a very good flag runner and you can be a very good asset in TDM and CTF

for people who do not follow STAR's twitter, you can get tribes ascend beta key at curse.com now! i think there is limited quantity available so do act quick. for people not living in the US (shocking, but yeah there are people living outside US /sarcasm), you would need to use a VPN/proxy to get the key. alright, now time for me to get used to the controls! cheers everybody :)

@FouetLianes Are you seriously retarded? CTF has been in games since forever, Team Fortress didn't invent it even if it had a part in it, and TF2 itself certainly didn't invent it. Soldier and Sniper are such fucking generic classes that they appear in hundreds of games, ever heard of a real war? Yeah, real wars have soldiers and snipers, guess they must be copying TF2! Loadouts were in Tribes 2 in 2001, and they're not even in Ascend. Team Fotress didn't have customizable loadouts until 2007.

Please help! I have a Tribes: Ascend beta pass but the FPS is too damn low (15 at most) I have tried everything to increase it. What do I do? BTW, I have a good comp, I mean, I can play TF2 on the highest quality with no lag.
