They should have based dracula off the one from the gary oldmen film, but made him younger(like 35ish) had him dress like Sephiroth from FF7(only with a shirt and tie), givin him a long black wavy hair, a romanian accent and a broad sword(like a small bastard sword).

This vid shows us the point where he tasted real blood , The blood he was waiting for .. so this is why he got so strong all of a sudden.
