Wow, i cant believe how many people could be hateing on neal. I mean YOU people are the ones that voted for him to win. I personaly know the guy, i gave him his first job at a fast food restaurant and remember him cleaning the dining room late at night after we closed and all of a sudden you would hear his amazeing voice echo thru the entire restaurant. there was never a doubt in my mind that he would become an amazing singer.

For opera singers the training is a career long process. The best ones work with their teachers all their lives. Saying he needs training isn't being hateful.

I think is time to recognized the genious of Puccini. This guy and Paul Potts are just amateur singers, but both of them cause instant emotion on the audience. Those automatic goosebumps are due to this absolutely brilliant masterpiece. I don´t think there is another opera piece that can cause that effect in a lay audience.
