the hosptial again because i was in a car accident and went into labor again. I was on so many different meds to keep my baby in. Then at 39.1wks at 2:30 i went into labor, it was finally time!!! I did most of my labor at home. When I got to the hosptial i was 7 1/2 almost 8 cm and she was born about an hour or so later health baby girl 8lbs 0ozs.
I went into preterm labor with all 3 of my pregnancies. My first one i was on meds for the last 5 1/2 weeks of my pregnancy i ended up having him at 39.3 weeks. heatlhy 7lbs 8ozs. Then I got pregnant 8 years later on Clomid with my Husband now. it wasnt as bad with him I also start contractions around 14 to 16 weeks but they watch me very close ( he was also 7lbs 8ozs) my daughter i went into the hosp. at 30wks in labor i got shot meds eveything with her. Then not even a week later i was back in
I'm 33 wks preg w/twins. My hospital has a preterm labor prevention program for high risk pregnancies (twins) - a nurse calls 1x week to check on me. They would rather you call if you think you have symptoms than wait and have it turn out badly. They deal with this stuff all day. Trust yourself. You know your body best. If something is wrong, take action. Also, it's very important to drink those 8-12 glasses of water. Being dehydrated makes your uterus irritable and contract more.
i had all these syptoms when i was 17 weeks , i lost my baby, i did call my doctor all they told me was to lay down and drink water, once my symptoms got worst they told me their office was close and to go to the ER my husband took me and there the er made me wait for about 3 hrs, when i finally went in i was 3 cm and they refuse to give me anything to stop the contractions, they said all they could do was to make me as comfortable as possible until my misscarriage. DRs dont care.
This is a very sad thing to here. However this does not happen everywhere and to everyone. Change doctors and hospitals and trust your body more. If you feel like you are going to have a problem next time go in RIGHT AWAY!! Do not wait.
yeah I just took my first progesterone shot today. I had a preterm birth in August and I am 17 weeks now. I almost didnt want to watch this video. still confused.
Do not be scared. If you are doing everything you should be doing then you will give you and your baby the best chances. watching this movie should just give you added knowledge of how to deal with circumstances that as pregnant women we might face. The more knowledge we have the better you can react. Plus if you stress to much about it it could affect your body and baby. This is because added stress can cause many issues in a pregnant women.
sorry you miss understood i ment that the video was over reacting and the symptoms they describe can be very mormal and it just seemed to scare women for no reason...i've had 2 kids and if i watched this when i was pregnant then it would have scared me and my kids were fine....sorry for the offence it wasn't intended
Well america obviously care more. As im in UK and im 29 weeks pregnant with twins, and i hav had every single sign mentioned. But my hospital wont even check me over. I went there, and they just sent me away.
Thanks for the video I see my doctor on the 5th so I'm gonna mension some of the symptoms I'm having that the video said, I am having lower back pains and I get pelvic pressure off and on it doesn't stick I am 30 weeks pregnant btw
This is a helpful video, but some of those signs of pre-term labor are very similar to those of just being pregnant. If I called my doctor everytime I had a backache, or braxton hicks contraction- she'd think I was crazy.
I was born at 34 weeks and only spent a couple of days in an incubator.
