  • Hi, I use the line out..

  • Which output do you use? Line/Phones?

  • That wah sounds really good! Thanks for the demo

  • What are the settings to this effect?

  • @riskotibor80

I know you can adjust it, but not exactly how. I think you need to check the manual. I'm sure you'll find the answer there.

  • i have the gt 8 but i dont like the wha-wha of the gt 8 =/

  • He made shorter than his brother and he cant help that, but you dont have leave him out of everything!!!

Ps. little fingers have feelings too

  • All, which AMPLIFIER best suits boss-GT-8 ??? is it Marshall or someother amps ?

  • can you please tell me the settings you have for this sound its just what ive been looking for...

  • hi i was wondering if u can rename each patch on the gt 8 cause i just bought 1??

  • Yes you can

  • wow what a wah pedal

i got a line6- pod xt live, and my wah is no where close to this

  • friend, never seen a sound nervous using gt8, would you pass me some tips to configure a wah wah effect equal to his? thank you very much.

  • Comment removed

  • so I imagine this would really help to hold solos together a bit more huh?

  • what kramer is that?i have neptune 620.

look the same as mine :)

  • Ever tried mysterious ways on that one?

  • I want a Kramer too!!

A Beretta... you know where to find it? ^^

  • Is GT 8 better than POD XT LIVE?

  • I think the effects of the GT-8 are better. And the preamp models of the Pod XT Live are better.

  • if you have a good amp... GT 8.. if you dont like your amp... a POD...

  • I've tried both. The GT8 has MUCH better sounds!

The very first GT8 patch is a Marshall amp sound that is great. The first time I played through that tone I hated to have to turn my guitar off. There is So much good stuff in the GT8 and it sounds great through monitors, through main PA Speakers, through an amp, and even with Headphones on. Tones of effects inside. It's great! Although now, I'd suggest getting the new GT10 instead. I'm sure it's the same beast, only better.

  • I like the GT-8 better

  • where did u buy it? i'm thinking of getting one for myself but i mean, can u find it at any music stores or do u have to order it or something?

  • Ebay!!!

  • @bendy5150 Will it work on a small amp? A LITERALLY SMALL AMP.

  • it's a bit off topic but which guitar is that, I mean, which Kramer?

  • Hi.....It's an American Showster, Savant 3

  • hey dude.. nice sounds!.. i use the Gt-8 as well... what WAH kind are u using and what levels on it ? :)

  • The problem is that the GT-8 only has one pedal.

If you use it for normal patches for volume, you're screwed for using it for wah (unless you buy a separate control pedal as well, $75)

  • Not a problem. There's another programmable switch that activates when the pedal is fully depressed (like a real wah). Its called "EXP SW". That switch can be programed to toggle the pedal between volume and wah. Works great!

  • Not a problem. There's another programmable switch activated when you fully depress the pedal (like a real wah). You can program it to toggle the pedal between controlling volume or wah. Works great!

  • But ... you have to go to "full volume" to use that to make a switch!! How does that "work great"!?

  • You mean you normally like to turn down your guitar before you switch over to wah? I guess it works fine for me because I like the pedal to normally be at full volume amd then use it for fades. Other option is to program the CTL switch to do the toggle. Or break down and just buy another expression pedal. Or buy an external switch to the do the toggle, which would be a lot cheaper than a pedal because any momentary switch will work.

  • Hah - maybe tat is the secret: operate with pedal at full vol for "normal".

I have pedal midway for normal so that I can adjust if I need to get up in the mix more than the lead patch gives me, for some reason.

  • I'm pretty new to the electrical guitar and have been wanting to purchase the GT 8 ever since i saw it. From the other videos i've seen, it seems some what complicated to use. How hard was it to really get the most out of the GT8?

  • hey dude do you know how to make the gt6 ot 8 's wah sound like your in the vid when you pass the pedal through the amps effect loop. mine sound shitty the volume is really low then the exp pedal is in the upward position (low frequency) but really nice and rich like yours when the pedal is in the downward position(high feq). help...i am passsing it through the effects loop of krank rev1 head

  • Unless you are looking for experimental stuff, running wah through your effects loop is going to drastically change your volume due to bass taking more power than treble to push. You are either going to have to run the GT-8 through the front end or get a separate wah pedal for it to sound normal.

  • IT IS LIKE THE BOSS ME 50 WAH???

  • can you get that voodoo child wah sound with the GT-8? i really wanna buy one...

  • Yep, there are quite a few cool wah settings...

  • @narutosshuriken moron!

  • congrats you just helped BOSS sell one of these to me ;)

  • lol! I use Zoom 707II and I am used to its wah sound... but this... this is just superb :)))

  • nice!does the gt-8 also have the "uni-v" effects?

  • Thanks... Yep, it has Uni v too

  • wow that wah sounds reallllly good.

  • Nice kramer dude :D

  • nicely done, one of my guitars is actually the same model but in blue

  • Hey, fellow Kramer user :D

What model, year is yours ?

    Cheers !

  • Hi there... It's actually my friends guitar, it's an American Showster, Savant 3. I also own a Kramer... A focus 2000..

  • that tone is almost like joe satriani

  • is that gt8-s wah?

  • please post the settings for the best sound ive heard in a while :)

    nice playing man ;)

  • which distortion model are you using on the gt?

i'm thinking of buying one but most people seem to think the distortions and high gain preamps are shit lol.

i like to use a mesa/boogie dual rectifier red channel vintage mode preamp- is it any good on the gt8?

    thanks!

  • Hi,

    Cheers

    Chris

  • Hello mate, it's a small Roland Cube 15 Watt amp, using the distortion and Wah through the GT8... I was playing in quite a big empty room which gave it a nice big sound!

  • i'm looking at either this or a line6 pod ctlive. which one shoudl i get?

  • Hi, I've not tried the Pod; however, the GT8 is a really great unit..
