"Did you ever tell a story, and emphasize parts that make you look legitimate to mainline Christianity, and leave out the parts that reveal the fact that you really don't believe the orthodox (true) teaching of the Bible, and in fact might make you look like a false teacher and Heretic?"
@seizetheday1234 Knowing that we have been made righteous in the sight of God without doing anything right and even when we do wrong it is not held against us by God. That is knowing worth. He made us worth. Jesus death at the cross through his grace bestowed upon us this great gift of righteousness. come see me at the_shockingtruth channel. Thanks, Barry Laney
@MolterFamily who are you agreeing with exactly? your opinion on what christs mission was compared to what he thinks christs mission was could be different but it does not mean ur both right or wrong, so keep your opinion for yourself and alot of people can get stuff out of his books and teachings so please. shut up.
@fastwritename I agree with Jesus, He came to seek and save the lost. Some will choose to reject Jesus and go to Hell because they have sinned and not been forgiven, and others will go to heaven because they have repented and trusted in Jesus. I would encourage you to read the Bible, maybe start with the Gospel of John. Praying for you to repent and trust in Jesus.
How ironic that he says "Jesus" invites us to die to that part of us that always insists on being right when he is part of a movement that claims Christianity itself must change! LOL!
The only thing about this is that some Christians still do this.....what does that mean?? What about the people who call themselves Christian that still do this? What does it make them?
@XXSeekerXX1 It doesn't make us anything other than what we already were...human...granted, it does shed a more hypocritical light on us, and if we call ourselves christians obviously we better live up to it...a lot of people don't realize that the call to follow Christ is by no means an easy one, in fact it's giving up the easy life and enduring hardships for the better of others around us...it's asking "how can i serve these people, regardless of my own needs and desires"
@XXSeekerXX1 Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's ok to do this...to lie is sin, and to be selfish is sin, and God has called us to a life purged of sin by the cross, and filled with His holiness, I only meant that if "christians" are not acting like Christ, instead of looking at them and passing judgement we should learn from it and become more like Christ to set an example for them to follow
@windrider992001 Sorry I didn't mean to come across as judgmental. It's just something that frustrates me, how very little people will let God in. As you said, it is giving up your life, your whole life, for God....how we portion ourselves out depending on how we feel is incredibly sad sometimes. It's hard to watch people do that to themselves when they could be experiencing so much more of Christ.

Thank you for not publishing Rob Bells new book! I agree that this doesn't fit in with Christ's mission.
