  • @HelloNewYorkCity OMG yea and its HUGE

  • Absolutely amazing video!!! I had just posted mine from my parents' feeder in NJ, but it was a very amateur one b/c I took it w/ my digital camera and it was shaky with no music background, etc. LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos of this! However, I was thinking this might be a juvenile rather than a female, though. There appear to be some patches of iridescence forming on its throat at around 1:09. Am I mistaken in assuming its gender because of this?

  • Actually there are two different birds in the video. The first one is a female and the later one is in fact an immature male.

  • Yep your right, it is a female. I always get a bit sad when its time to take my hummingbird feeders down for the winter. I was seeing them up until about the first week of oct, but they were getting pretty scarse then, and i was only seeing the females. I read somewhere that the males always migrate first.

  • Great video..u caputured this little guy so well. I love watching the hummgingbirds at my feeders and i always get sad when they leave in the fall.

  • It's a female. Look, no red patch!

  • AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!
