I just got the Benchmade Barrage. Its a great knife, nice solid feel smooth action. Its going to get used real good when I go camping this year.

How come all the "at show" videos I've seen have girls talking about the blades and when I go to a knife show the only people selling knives are guys and women that don't know what they are talking about. I had a women at my last show try to tell me that a Tanto blade knife is another name for an OTF knife so she doesn't carry them because the are illegal >.<

They like changing their dive knife steel a lot. They went from H1 to X15TN, to this N680 now. I wonder if it's actually better steel, or just cheaper to manufacture with.

Some good knives but the bone collectors look like garbage, they're all a bit over priced, and someone tell me why the red class is gone, the monochrome and the nagara were two great knives.

the red class is gone because benchmade now makes all of their products, everyhting from the steel, to the handle materials, to the screws and clips, to everyhting else, in the US. the red class utilized parts and steels made from taiwan, china, japan, etc.

I held a 741 at the local knife store. I haven't bought a Benchmade in a while, but this one will be getting me. Great fit and action and you can't beat a Lum for design.
