  • Shit happens

  • Fake é o teu Rabo

  • px.bladeswede.remix!

  • i have intel and amd both are good

  • AMD sucks balls

  • There is no way an Intel CPU of that or ANY generation ran that cool even in idle with a proper heatsink and fan put on it! No way it stayed that cool without the heatsink on it.

  • it's really ridiculous how anyone can be a "amd fanboy" or "intel fanboy", like you actually played any part in developing the hardware at all. I used to by AMDs back in the day and now I buy intel, if intel falls behind and AMD becomes more effective, I'd switch without thinking twice.

Stop being a fanboy and worshipping these brands like a groupie. Be more pragmatic and put your needs first.

  • Great, now I have to look trough all the comments to see what FRURMELL said.

  • fuckin AMD, Intel its the best

    AMD hate, INTEL the best

  • @MrValdr1n intel fan boy #1.

  • the results dont surprise me, those are old CPUs, i remember having an amd @800Mhz and i was running it with a cooler that these days you cannot find (it was small) in the end it gave up on me..i dont know why, maybe the cooler broke xD

  • WOW 20 FPS on THAT game is like lagging in mario >:O

  • intel fanboy vid tbh fake shit. This coming from someone who has intel

  • Comment removed

  • 240p.SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WHATS THAT GAME?

  • @967user quake live

  • @967user Quake 3 Arena

  • methinks the heatsink at one point after being removed was saying to the AMD CPU, HEY PUFF PUFF GIVE MFKR!!!!!!

  • How about adding a PC CPU in the video from Hp Pentium 4 i would like to see what would happen

  • AMD 360 C TEMPERATURE? WOWWWWW

  • @windows13ful From personal experience, I've noticed AMD processors always run hot. Course, I didn't expect to see 360 degrees...lmao.

  • @newtubetubetube your heatsink is BAD , BAD VARY BAD !

  • song

  • Tom's Hardware is a FAKE!

  • but, will it blend?

  • I was wondering why the CPU's were so ancient till I saw "2001" at the end lolz.

  • the 423 systems had an automatic throttle you morons, and did not get as hot as the northwood / prescott from the 478 platform

  • Mmm , this is probably the reason my AMD Athlon doesn't work anymore.

    Time to buy a Intel

  • @xDutchZomBieHD You do realize these are old results right ?

  • @formuna101 Yes, but ym AMD Athlon is old too.

  • @xDutchZomBieHD Which one do you have ?

  • @xDutchZomBieHD 1400 sumthing

  • 1:12 is it fuckin burning?!

  • Ohai gaiz, looks like AMD just shattered the world record for fastest clock speed on a CPU. Where is your god Intel now?

  • @Aeolistify lol

  • I use amd to light my ciggs

  • i'd cook an egg on that

  • once it starts to smoke and burn

will u be able to use it once again????

  • It's funny how my AMD Phenom runs cooler overclocked than my Pentium D does while being clocked at normal speed.

  • Ah, Pentium 4, good memories back when I had the best pc of the class :)

  • @ThatKidWithMyHat We are in Rio Rancho the location of the worlds biggest Intel factory and it brings us jobs and a good economy in New Mexico.

  • what game is that? i may be able to run it on my new laptop lol.

  • @newtubetubetube it shut down the processor that's why.

  • @choppyfireball It does not, else it won't detect that the heatsink is back on

  • @MrVijfhoek it does because when the processor gets too hot it starts declocking, and declocking until eventually it shuts it down. amd didn't have the tech on those processors hense the reason they melted, and the processor it'self doesn't know if the heat sink is on it just notices that its not hot anymore and begins resuming normal clock rates increasing in incriments, and the processor doesn't ACTUALLY shut down but it declocks so far that it may as well have.

  • Crap video

  • @FRURMELLL

your pentium 4 was a prescott = very hot = it beat the sun

  • @newtubetubetube just question do amd cpu have this heat protection which slow it down so it don't burn?

  • @101ado I believe the AMD cpu did have some heat protection. But not designed for that kind of abuse. I remember my Athlon(older then this one) crawling when the fan stop working, and it certainly did not go in smoke...

On either cpu, removing the heat sink while running will void the warranty. Intel just went a step further by protecting itself from idiots that fail to properly install the cooler.

  • @FRURMELLL this is without a heatsink jackass

  • @FRURMELLL

    Falso!? Non per me!

    Fake!? Not for me!

  • @FRURMELLL SHUT THE FUCKITY FUCK UP YOU FUCKITY FUCKTARD! he best insult ever! :D

  • I like how you waited so long to see the temperature on the amd cpu's ....old ones at that!

  • AMD Processor is very hot.

  • Comment removed

  • Nowadays Intel is way warmer than AMD, especially the i7s

  • @dragonx20091 still intel chips are far beter than amd...

  • @14589sumedh I disagree except for p4 and Imac 2.8 GHz core 2 duo, and the 2003 2.7 GHz Celeron.

  • i get on my server (pentium 4) after 1 sec without cooler a bsod :((

  • @dragonx20091 i have a AMD duron.but now intel i3.so would not say that i hate AMD if i had a new AMD cpu.but my friends said that they changed computers 2-3 times because there PC would not bootup.there cpu where AMD athlon II and phenome 2 x3. so i have a reason to say i hate AMD.

  • this is why i hate AMD .

  • thou must truly hate thine computer my good sir.

  • 370celsius on amd? WTF xDDD My athlon idiling at 25 xD

  • @PauliusSmile idiot? Your CPU has a cooling fan built into it. He removed it for the lulz

  • @rerundadog

You're an idiot. That cpu can't run at 370celsius without a heatsink it will be about 200~...

  • @PauliusSmile misread your comment :P lol

  • @rerundadog

Look at the Intel cpu's 27celsius with no heatsink and amd without heatsink 370...

  • amb sucks

  • Comment removed

  • @FRURMELLL Its the outside temperature, your thinking about internal temperature.

  • LOL SIXHUNDRED DEGREES MY ASS

  • Is this a vid trying to prove that AMD processors suck????

  • @FRURMELLL LoL youre right , my pentium m4 idles at 70 celsius and under load like 80 ° It's stock cooler I dont know why its running s hot but LoL

  • @ugglan26 said "LoL youre right , my pentium m4 idles at 70 celsius and under load like 80 ° [...]"

At 80 you cpu was probably starting throttling down. So much for been 'under load'. LOL.

  • @newtubetubetube Yeah I couldn't do more than agree with you man , I swapped cooler from my gaming machine a noctua and the temperatures dropped like 30 celsius and the performance... well were not going to talk much about that but it got like 10 times faster , but it still sucks L0L ;D

  • this is fake right?

  • 0:31

    yeah

    sure

  • @cbproductionsradio It was a gigabyte motherboard. but I was looking on the cooler and there was an 80mm delta. explains the temperatures I was getting hahah. my 9600gt hit 105C on crisis. I'm glad I don't abuse my hardware as much as I did when I was younger.

  • Intel Inside : Idiot Outside

  • apologies for an off topic, but what is the game displayed behind the cpu? i played it long ago and have had no luck finding it again.

  • @Tricycle321 Quake 3 Arena is the game

  • Ouah j'ai un processeur AMD sur le mien Et il monte souvent vers les 100° ... Vivement que j'ai mon mac avec un processeur intel!

  • INTEL > AMD

  • I use an overclocked Athlon 1400 without cooler as a heater.

  • goes to show how shit amd is. my lga775 dual core idled 20C full load 20C.. makes me sad I bought an AMD but AMD is just so much more effective for budget builds. It seems to lack in quality but is engineered toward gaming non the less. my advice? don't run games without a cooler and both will work admirably -_- great video though

  • @MatthewTelles room temperature is 20C. Your motherboard's temperature sensors are wrong. Although all of my computers are Intel (using the i5-2500k overclocked to 4.5ghz @ 1.28V stable right now lol)

  • @32undefined32 yea I removed the heatsink and it was warm to the touch but definitely not hot. it heated up extremely fast tho. it had a cooler with a massive fan stuck in an antec900. heat was not an issue. it was the loudest fan in the computer when the cpu fan spun up

  • @FRURMELLL Hell, I forgot to plug my laptop CPU in after cleaning out the heatsink fan and nearly killed it. CPU-Z & BIOS reported temps of at least 96 degrees celsius. That is 206.6 degrees Fahrenheit my friend. Processor - AMD Sempron 2200+ 2.2GHz. Overclocking would be too much of a chore to the average Toshiba user, so they disabled every attempt at it.

  • try doing that on an i7

  • @Rakdyne I actually tried that by accident... the pc just shuts down

  • @anonymous36594 My Quad core 2.4 does that too :o

  • @Rakdyne all new CPUs do that 8D

  • Ok ... But can it blend?

  • Looks like Bird Poo.

  • @JackomanTheThird ooowww

I think thats why i got blue screen when trying to play cod 4 with a intel pentium 4...

It got blue screen and it made the sound like it was shutting of. (i guess the cpu cooler stopped too)

But somehow it now works. Ow w8 i think thats becouse i used to overclock the pentium 4 to 4.80 ghz and not doing any stability tests :S

Hope it will do better with my new amd phebom ii x6 1090t and an h70 liquid cooler from corsair :D

  • INTEL!

  • song name??

  • AMD SUCKS

  • !!! THATS REALLY HOT!!!!!!!!!!! yu should have touched it with your finger

  • Intel>amd =)!!!!!

  • @anonymous36594 true.

  • This proves intel is better than amd

  • @thecodgamer12 today not ;) amd ist much cheaper then intel and black Edition from amd is unlocked so you can overclock it easily :)

  • Die Bediungen sind Unreallistisch. Wenn der Lüfter ausfällt, das merkt man. Wenn der der Lüfter kaputt geht, fliegt doch nicht der ganze Kühler ab, oder?

  • This is why all boards nowadays kill power when the CPU reaches above 90C, to stop them going up in smoke

  • dosn't say assembled in malaysia for no reason :P

  • OMG...this is sooo old.

  • wow, Intel is still my favorite processor, currently using a Celeron D with the cooler not floating, not tied down because i don't have case for computer yet. still runs hot 60c because its not down all the way and not too much thermal grease yet and it runs fine. One time though my cooler slid off and the processor hit 90c what did it do? turned itself off! i think its the motherboard that saved it though because upon powering it back up it made ambulance noises.

  • This video is from 2001 and the prosers are old but now AMD dont bur anyway when you remove the cooler it shuts down.

Rate it if it is true!

  • shows amd's work harder!

  • 370C? You should have used it to solder with

  • amd palomino? how old is this video

  • @felixcruzazul Its from 2001. They used Windows 98 :D

  • why the hell would anybody take off their heatsink in the first place

  • @racedriver52 well what would happen if it didn't work properly and you didn't notice?

  • @Nyocurio I mean when the computer is running

  • @racedriver52 yeah imagine you tweak some stuff inside your pc, accidentaly jam your fan or break it or w/e and don't notice it doesn't spin (because it's usually dead silent anyway)

  • @Nyocurio that's why you need to know the temperatures all the time, i use an application that lets me see the temp from the sidebar

  • @Bx1337Production Well, if you want to look at temp. values 99% of the time that's fine, although there are people out there that don't

  • Remember kids, dont take off your heatsync =)

  • So many freaking fanboys... GROW UP, PEOPLE.

And take note that this video is FOUR YEARS OLD, GODDAMNIT.

  • Wait, did the computer shutdown at 1:43?

  • Lol AMD fails AGAIN

  • @omsigbug These are the old AMD Athlon CPU's. The new ones are different

  • is that supposed to be thermal paste on the amd?

  • Oh yeah, music is from Amiga game Project-X by Team17 :D

    (px.bladswede remix!)

  • Intel Pentium RULEZ!!!

  • if i buy a pc its always with a intel processor ;) !!

thanks for the show ! its great

  • INTEL INTEL INTEL

  • shit offffff.... that quick???!!

  • That is the only problem with AMD CPU over heating!

  • My Intel CPU gets around 4x hotter than my AMD CPU, and my AMD CPU is overclocked! Just saying...

  • @tsusec Your sir, are a true idiot!

  • you overclocked the amd to much. it would also be about 80 degrees (I know my amd athlon x2 did when I did not have a fan for it. and no it was not underclocked)

  • Intel WAS the king.

  • @goldomor exacctly back when microsoft had a monopoly

  • if i got a cooling thing for my processor would it speed up because it doesnt have a fan its just a metal thingy

  • @DevastatedX I'm assuming you're referring to the Heat Sink, the heat sink does it's job but i think you might notice a slight change in performance if a fan was added again assuming there is an assembly for it if not i wouldn't recommend it.

  • @DevastatedX It's best to buy a do-ja-ma-flopper if your thingy isn't doing the job. "Things" work best when coupled with a thingy AND a do-ja-ma-flopper though ;)

  • @dinkidavis wth are you talking about..

  • I was wondering why my AMD machines were crashing.

  • AMD IS THE KING !

  • @makedaevilmage thats why they all died right.

  • @makedaevilmage thats why they all died right.

  • intel is way overpriced for like 20% more performance than amd

  • intel cpus are made of hafnium, which doesn't conduct heat as easily and therefore doesn't require a cooler as much as an AMD cpu does.

  • @PCGameplayVids good good, but i have to wait wont have enough money coz i'm going on a trip, but next year will be raking in the cash so by that time i'll get one of the 8 core CPUs. plus intel has a shit ethic, dont like them at all

  • @PCGameplayVids true that intel might have faster cpus so far, but amd CPUs are awesome now and more bang for your buck, look up the fastest i7 atm and you will see its capabilites at $999 Aus dollars. then AMD with theirs only slightly less performance that is same clock speed etc but with other factors like caches etc make them have a lower 3dMark 06 score etc, but only 265$!!!!!!

  • todays cpus would just down clock themselves after reaching their thermal threshold if that doesn't work it will shut down the computer

  • When my processor overheats, my computer just shuts off.

  • This proves AMD tends to over heat compared to Intel. AMD is only good for java apps.

  • @xHamachi

They both overheat, but Intel clocks the processor down automatically so it doesn't stay at too high temperatures. Generally though, yes, AMD's have a higher temperature.

  • For Amd , don't say it.. I know it (burning...)

  • Pro Tip: New over heat and fry circuits :/

  • when to the first amd the computer has a error then it smokes.

    amd will burn

  • I thought that it will make CPU players suicide or do nothing or do a lot of nonsense like hugging the wall

  • Dude removes CPU...

CPU:Ahhhhh I'm burnin'!Gimme back ma coola you piece of sh..aaaargghhh I'm burning up....

  • the amd is in the middle of hell lol

  • well...when i tried that( before watching your video) the computer just shut down by itself and after that the cpu worked fine...

  • @NeoNaziMexcanJew Do you heard anything about, that the i7 is also consuming a higher amount of power than the Phenom IIs for example? Intel is cheating, because the i7 has hyper threading, and that makes it equal to a Octo-Core-Processor, but as it has only 4 Silicon-Cores it is compared to Quad-Cores :) AMDs Cheaper with almost the Same power, so AMDs the best Bank for the Buck

  • intel GOOD

  • INTEL FTW!!!!! core i7 908x is 1000000000 times better than all AMD processors together!!

  • @jonasrud2 yea but the price is 1000000000000000 times higher

  • intel and nvidia>AMD and ATI RADEON

  • This is so old. AMDs have thermal protection now.

    AMD > Intel :)

  • Comment removed

  • @foobarturkey AMD is also not even close to where intel is as far as speed.. Look at the 980x i7 Pretty much puts amd to shame in every way... more than 2 fold.. AMD does have the best price performance ratio though.. but they are by far not the fastest :)

  • @foobarturkey who gives a shit. shutup and play

  • @foobarturkey i agree!!
